Day 22. http://instagram.com/p/0iDwQKjLG6/ I’m kind of embarrassed about how flexed my feet are, but also kind of happy I was able to figure a way to reverse grab in my small space… Jeez, you bang your toes once on the bed frame and suddenly they won’t point even if you beg! Γ°ΕΈΛβΊ

You might have more luck searching “forearm scorpion” if that’s what you’re trying for. You can walk down the wall and kind of let gravity help you… But touching the floor is a long way off for me. Feet to head is a much more attainable goal, though even that seems far off. π

Ohhhh can’t wait to see them on you!!!

I’m just confused because in a bridge your feet start on the floor. Maybe I’m picturing something else in my head… Hm.

Also you can stay at step 2 or 3 if youre not ready to move on…
if there is a specific point you get stuck (back flexibility, shoulder flexibility etc) Veena has great lessons. I think her shoulder stretches for back arch march are what opened up my shoulders.

I actually found that video and was able to make a quick compilation.
1. prepare for bridge
2. come up to head
3. tuck hands behind head
4. push up with your forearms and feet.I will tell you here traction in your feet is key… also as you push with your feet your hands will slide so it helps to do it against a wall so you can really push. π
Hope that helps a bit. I should revisit this move… I think i should be more open in the shoulders these days… π

OMG EROS, you sneaky little devil!!!!
I decided since I was already recording for today (and since I have puppy classes, a family member flying in, and a flexibility workshop tomorrow) I would try eros today.
Yikes! I got something… I mean I guess I got it for a second or two, but I certainly wouldn’t say I own it by any means. It’s amazing how poor my body awareness is. The first time I actually tried to lower the hooked leg, not the free leg down. SERIOUSLY?!?! Hahhaahah.
I wish I had more height… I was so caterpillared out from Ayesha and elbow grip butterfly that I didn’t want to try a straight edge (a move I never seem stable in… must practice!) So I did a little tumble down to brass monkey.. but before you know it I’m at the floor. Oh well.
But thanks for the lesson Veena! Walking the hands up was the key I was missing the first few times I tried it.

Honestly Shoog, I don’t think there is a single pair of heels in existence you couldn’t pull off… and those babies are purdy!

Oh I love them! I don’t think they look too fragile or anything.
