I have the yoga direct and I love it…
I think its personal preference. For me, at the time, the YD one was cheaper… so that sealed the deal.
Ok, I’ve had a drink, so someone should check my math….
But the YD one has a 5ft diameter (2.5 ft around each part of the pole uniformly)… the PoM is 4×4… (diagonally thats 5.66ft) so some parts are 2ft around the pole in some parts and 2.83 feet at the corners… so shorter in some directions that the other mat and bigger in others.
It’s really what you prefer.

Day 6. https://instagram.com/p/z5dJzuDLDd
Sorry this is so rushed. If I explained the day I’m having…. Sigh. Anyway, I tried to go up and grab that top leg but it wasn’t happening. I had a good laugh about it anyway. Figure I’d would show the whole thing… Good, bad, ugly

Well, I have 2 pairs of pleasers.
1. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00125TOHM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
2. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0028TUS9E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
In street shoes I’m a 9 or 9.5, but I got a 10 in the Pleasers because I heard the run small… and they do. a 10 fits but my toes are right to the edge, but I feel like an 11 would just be too big.
As far as the shoes without the ankle straps (#2) sometimes I want to try certain moves or spins with and without heels back and forth… and not have to stop and sit down to take them on and off.
After reading amazon reviews people said the plastic across the foot was pretty tight, and there were even tips about warming it up with a hair dryer to get the plastic to expand.
I did NOT find it to be tight, actually they are a little loose, and I don’t have a particularly narrow foot. They aren’t falling off or anything, but I have those ball of the foot cushions for heels I may put in them if I want them to be tighter to invert or something.
I would not want to size down or my foot would be over the edge… But I would avoid these if you have a really narrow foot 🙂

Yes, if it wasn’t clear in my last post, do check out Veenas lessons on stretching/flexibility. They are extremely helpful. Just because I don’t always do them while watching doesn’t mean I didn’t learn a great deal from them. I still refrence them when I need to. I’m just a slave to the TV 😜

I like Veenas stretching lessons a lot, but I’m just not a video person when I stretch. I’ve done them a few times, and they are helpful (very!) but I like to put on the tv and kind of distract myself from what I’m doing 😜 So I don’t use Veenas lessons specifically but I use a lot of things I’ve learned from watching them combined with things I’ve picked up other places (class, yoga, Internet) I’m actually a really unfocused person in my personal life (I do focus at work) but I just can’t seem to focus on a video. So I just jot down exercises or stretches and do them while I watch tv. What I do is probably pretty close though… 🙂

My routine is pretty much:
Monday I take and early evening shower and stretch for 30-45 minutes (for splits only, hopefully I’ll add back and shoulders in one day, but I’m trying not to overwhelm myself or it will seem daunting)
On Wed I go to pole class where are warm up includes a stretching component but not as much or deep as I do on my own (this does include back and shoulders so they don’t get completely neglected)
Then I TRY and squeeze in another session like Mondays on Friday or Saturday, but some weekends I’m heading from Basketball games to baseball practices to baby showers and I just don’t get a chance.
So my schedule really is 1-2 deep stretching days a week plus 1 decent but not as itense day. I hope that helps some. 🙂

I know not everyone had a great experience at VS… But my sales woman was sweet and patient and had me try on a billion things and I really really appreciate everything she did.
Um so I was wrong my bras at home are 36A!!!! Clearly I was doing A LOT wrong. Now I’m hating walking around the mall in my old bra!
Thank you guys for opening my eyes.
Im still kind of in shock. I get how it works now… But I’m still amazed.

I’m just going to try on a billion bras I think. Like I said I really need new ones.
How do you ladies feel about measuring above the boobs for band size? A few sites recommend that… And that’s completely different for me.🎶 Baby got lats. 🎶
