Thanks Rune! I’m all jazzed up to go bra shopping now. (Ugh,”jazzed up”, I sound like my mom)

Anyway. I’m realizing my 34A bras are just too loose around, especially since the elastic is all worn out because I haven’t bought bras in years.

My bras are mostly push ups and very padded in the attempt to give me some shape. I realize they were never comfortable (and probably never fit well) but it was like “eh, it makes me look better in sweaters”. I mean how could a bra be comfortable when the entire bottom half is filled in, making the cup shape a half circle?! I have not put on a bra without a hefty amount padding and push up probably since I wore training bras.

I also am lazy so my bras are all the convertible ones. (I’m excluding sexy lingerie here, I’m talking day to day stuff that I actually wear). They all can be strapless, strapped, cross back, halter, etc. I really like that option but I’m realizing I probably don’t need it.

Anyway. I’m going to read up a bit more on how things should fit and maybe I can talk my husband into some shopping. πŸ˜›

So here is the thing… I’m the flattest person I know. I’m a A, I’ve always been. Actually sometimes A’s seem big. I never really paid to much attention because I don’t feel like I ever need “support” and do wear sports bras most of the time if I’m not dressing up. But this made me curious.

My measurements were like “WHA?!”. Then without telling my husband I had him measure me too (to make sure it was level)… I’m like 30.5 right below my chest, and 35 around my chest. There is just no way I’m a D or anywhere close. I plugged it in this calculator (http://www.herroom.com/bra-fitting-advice,901,30.html)… and they do the band size a bit differently so it put me at 32C.

I’m still having a hard time with that. I have to assume thats also a particularly wide part of my back or lats?!?

Hm, I definitely need new bras anyway… I should probably get ones that fit

    Thanks Lucca!!!

I just felt like there is all this emphasis on making sure the fabric and carabiners can hold 3,000 lbs and I’m not really sure why!

I kind of thought I could just make a sling for my pull up bar with simple stuff from the hardware store but I guess its not that simple. Even the carabiners for 540LBS says you should not hang from it.

I’m icing a shoulder injury and I just kind of wanted to be suspended and stretch. :/

Good Suggestions Veena. For me (an intermediate) for something like dragons tail I’m just going to try and and get the leg hang with the hand behind my back. I don’t know if I’ll get the legs off the pole. We will see…

I think you can try that without inverting from Jasmine (Shooting star) you might be really low, depending on how high you can put your knee without inverting. πŸ™‚

Thank you Kasanya for your response. I asked because its a favorite stretch of mine. I use yoga blocks though because I definitely don’t have the flexibility. πŸ™‚ I really like stretches I can sink into…

I really need to head to bed now, but I’m going to send you a friend request because I want to pick your brain and ask you a Q or two about B&P cause you mentioned it in your bio. πŸ™‚

    Thanks again for your help!

    How is everyone doing?

I had a really bad stretching session yesterday. So tight πŸ™ Don’t know if it’s because I stretched really long/deep on Saturday…or because it’s 9F here (-12C). I felt warm after my hot hot shower though, and I still warmed up a lot… But the cold just finds a way to ruin things :/

I have seen this before but I enjoy it more every time so thanks for sharing.

I love that the co-founder of Netflix poles in her kitchen!!! I just assume she’d have a massive pole room and dance on piles of money (I would anyway Γ°ΕΈΛœΕ“)

No problem. My studio is pretty relaxed. But I still personally wouldn’t feel comfortable with 1 layer on. that’s just me though. Boy short underwear over a thong is fine.

Also Walmart (and I hate going to Walmart) actually has cute side tie shorts for $5. I have a few pairs: red pink, green and some black ones with a blue waistband.

I think wearing undergarments under them makes them more shorts than underwear. If you can wear a thong under them then I’d consider them appropriate to wear to a studio.. I’m sure there are a few exceptions, but most I think would be ok.

The bad kitty shorts are much thicker and sturdier than underwear and they are like $20 not 40… And I love them.

Veena, If all else fails I sent you a private IG message with a recording of you doing it. Unless you find something better.

I jazzed it up with flower petals to distract from the fact that its recorded off a computer. But I can removed that stuff if its too busy.

Just in case no one gets to it by the time you want to post. You don’t need to use it.

Bummer! I’ve ordered a few pleasers from Amazon and always been fine… but I really only buy things from Amazon Prime. Otherwise it is a gamble. How annoying!

Pleasers run SMALL. I feel like there should be a disclaimer somewhere. I had to go a full size up.

    Good luck selling them!

I’m with you! It took me a while to really understand the grips and their differences. Butterfly Is one of those moves where split grips feels more “twisted” then you’d think it’s supposed to (cause it feels different then doing it upright), but twisted grip is a whole other flip of the wrist… The is some floor work that I think TG world well for… But other than that I haven’t really tried it. But just doing it on the pole standing upright not having it support my weight, well as the other grips, just to feel the difference really helped me. 😊 Even if you don’t want to use the grip it’s just helpful.
