Ok, I did my 111 sec today!!! It was very hard though. I’m happy it’s 111 tomorrow too, and not jumping up any more. I had to really tough it out the last 25 sec. I thought I was going to crumble!

Whew today was hard! I had to drop my knees for a second today in the middle of my 111 sec. Im pretty sore from yesterdays flagging and stuff, so that may be part of it.
I also put that I completed the day… I have 2 more opportunities to do 111 sec. if I’m not able to get it I may drop it down to easy. :/

Looks like the xpole us store has pink silicone poles for sale! Just thought I’d share!

So if I was buying it from a friend/studio mate who I trusted… I’d probably pay 270.
From a random person on CL I’d be expecting a bargain and pay 200.
Now that may sound weird to charge your friend more than a stranger…so maybe ask 270 but realize if it’s on CL you’re going to have to accept lower.
Let me just telling you where I’m coming from…
So a new one is like 330 + 40 for shipping is 370…. I know xpole has super service regardless, but I just feel like if you get a new one and you have any problems they will help you out. If you have trouble on a used one you may need to purchase something…. For me if I knew the person and the pole was almost good as new and I knew the person took care of it and the joints were stripped or stuck etc it would be worth saving 100 for me not to just order a new one.
If I was getting it from a stranger and I had to pick it up somewhere (already a hassle) and I can inspect it, but won’t really know how it spins or whatever until I get home… Then I need to go much lower on my price to feel good making that gamble.
Make sense?

Love it. Your hips face the floor more than mine do. I like it the way you do it, it looks so graceful, but I just couldn’t get mine to go that way.
I have this awful bruise right above my boob. I think I probably need to work on finding a different sweet spot.

Kate, you just have to make sure to stay engaged in the core. Sometimes I worry so much about being straight or not having my butt up in the air that I let my butt/belly drop or sag. This is really hard on the lower back! So make sure to stay solid through the core!
I had a rest day yesterday. And I have my 91 seconds to do later. Feeling intimidated for sure.

I have the EZ connect v3.0 too…. And while I can’t comment on the quick connect… I can sympathize! My pole is completely stuck together. I know PS does convert the pole connections for a fee, but I think it’s cheaper than a whole new pole… But I suppose to ship it you’d need to get the pole apart.
I’ve never been able to get mind apart. Not even once. I called PS and they gave me tips, but I didn’t have any luck. It was after a long session of poling so my arms were jello. I haven’t tried since. But once I do get them apart I’m going to oil the heck out of them before I put them together again!

Ha. Yeah my 71 seconds today wasn’t fun. And my 91 tomorrow will be even less fun. 🙂

Yeah! I wish there was a place to try them all near me!
My next pole will probably be a TG. I’ve used TG and chrome at my studio and my SSA is stainless. The PS stainless is grippier then my chrome, but I heard that’s not true of the xpole stainless… And I def want an Xpert soon.
I’ve never heard anyone disliking TG. I know people have other preferences, but TG seems to be universally acceptable. Some people love brass, others don’t. Also apparently xpole has a powder coated pole on the way. So that could also be cool.
I’ve heard of people ordering a small extension to try out the finish….If you like it you can just order a new Apole and Bpole and switch out the chrome ones you already have. That’s the cheaper option, but then you can’t really sell the old one.
Anyway, yeah, its a big commitment and the choice is pretty personal. It’s so hard!!!

ronibmoses2731, I do mine on my forearms like in the pictures above… except I put my palms on the floor (like the picture on the app) so not in a fist….because I feel more comfortable on my palms, and the weight feels more evenly distributed on my forearms.

MemberJune 29, 2014 at 10:12 am in reply to: Your first video that you posted – what was it?Yup! My 1st video is one of a pole sit… And it was a struggle. Looking back at it reminds me how far I’ve come!
So far all my videos are just clips of tricks. Mostly just “firsts”. I have yet to post a freestyle. Mainly because my pole time is limited and I usually have a list of things I want to work on… And barely get through that.
I need to challenge myself to just dance. My pole room inside is small and my pole is static only (this will be changing soon I hope). So I never really just dance.
Anyway, point is… You don’t have to freestyle to post a clip. 🙂
