I’m not getting any error message. I hit upload and it doesn’t load. I do get the yellow triangle sign.

Thank you chemgoddess1 for your through advice!! It is a stainless steel from platinum stages so it is one of those portable poles with the stand. I will have to get some grip aide. I am use to a brass pole so shaving cream with some itact usually does the trick. I was thinking of three spins and at least two tricks then try not to blank out and forget to freestyle. Absolutely I would not do anything that compromises my grip especially since this is a on pole I haven’t used before. I am hoping they either videotape or take pictures I will share them 🙂

@poledancerromace thank you for sharing that video. Truly a inspirational video. I tell all my girlfriends who want to try it to do so no matter what their shape, size or age is. I even go with them to the introductory class for support.

I don't mean to sound like an asshole here but they are taking advantage of the fact you guys are friends. Clearly you're a reliable tenet and pay your rent so what I fail to understand is in the past 2 years you have lived there why haven't they set money aside that you have been paying them to get the heater fixed. This is poor money management on their part. You're not taking from their kids, they are the parents you have no responsibility to them to make sure their kids are taken care of (sorry if this sounds heartless, I am a mom, but I am smelling bullshit here on their part). When you enter into an agreement where money is exchanged especially when renting it is a business deal regardless if you know the person on a personal level. I suggest you tell them to fix the heat problem or you will and you will take the money you give them for rent to pay to get it fixed and they will be shit out of luck in rent. I know how cold it can get in the New England area and coming to a 40 degree house is unacceptable.

I know this is a far fetch idea but you have a very supportive network here on Veena. To motivate you to get back into poling can I make a suggestion that we try and do a Skype pole forum together?? I'm a newbie to doing pole Skyping but if it is going to help you with your nightmares subsiding I'm all for that. I know all of ladies are scattered across the four winds but if we can each take time to pole Skype with you is that something that you are willing to do? Right now you need something that is therapeutic and I think focusing your time back into poling has some therapeutic effect. It helped me getting through a VERY rough patch in my life last year. Even if that is something you're not ready to do, just remember your fellow Poling Divas are here to listen and support https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Personally you shouldn't focus on the negatives that happened during your wedding (dress wardrobe failure, bridesmaids shenanigans, mother being dramatic etc.), but the fact that you got to say "I Do" to your best friend, soul mate, partner and now your hubby. You could have walked down the aisle in a burlap sack and he would still think you are the most beautiful woman/wife on that day (based on what you wrote). Focus on that, I know that doesn't change the fact of what happened, but you got to marry the person you love that should outweigh all the other things https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif. That's my two cents.

thank you quirkygirl and cherry bomb jac. I should have mentioned that its not like that every day. If I do a full load on one day I will take the next day off or do only one hour the following day. I will definitely heed your advice cherry bomb jac and implement a routine so I don't over exert or injury myself 🙂 .

Elbow Grip  Aysha. As soon as I release my legs for the pole its all down hill from there (no pun intended). Trying to keep concave escapes me.
