Done! It just breaks my heart to see this! I get newsletters the the Animal Rescue Site and it's so hard to see all of the petitions that need signatures…I've always said that someone who can be cruel to an animal can be cruel to a person just as easily. I used to volunteer at a shelter and we had a litter of kittens come in that someone had rescued when they saw a group of teenage boys kicking them over a football goal…it just made me sick! Let's hope that this petition brings awareness to the fact that so very very many perfectly wonderful animals get put down because some people don't have the sense to spay/neuter their animals and then wonder why their dog or cat has half a dozen or more babies every year. :/

Thanks for the replies! I'll try to post a pic if I can find my camera. Sorry if my explanation is confusing, I'm still new to pole so I'm trying my best to explain clearly :). The adjuster rod is completely covered by the adjuster cover when the pole is extended…before I screw the adjuster cover up though, there's almost 5 inches of adjuster rod showing when I have my pole firmly in place. I've tried to put the small extension on but it's like 1 1/2 inches too tall once I put the dome on. The pole feels totally stable, but I didn't know if it's was normal to have that much of the adjuster rod visible. I'll probably call XPole and see what they say…thanks again for the help guys!

I just checked the the screws and I didn't have them tightened enough *blushes*…thanks for the tip….i'm scared of hurting the pole so I tried not to tighten anything too much lol…the rough part of the xjoint is at the very top, like around the edge, but I don't use that one when I put my pole up…should I call Xpole and replace it or just leave it? Do you mean I shouldn't see any of the rod below the adjuster cover? Because It covers fine there's just alot of rod showing (i had to turn the pole for like 3 minutes straight….I tried putting the smaller extension on but it was too long for my ceiling…)…I bought it from this site about a week ago..

sensualscimitar, I saw your post and was so excited! I just ordered a 45mm Chrome X-Pert! I've never found a better deal on an X-Pole anywhere.. That's so awesome that this site is offering that today! Now I even have a little money left over :)…Thanks for the update and for your help!

Thanks Saphyre and sensualscimitar! I really appreciate the help and advice. I think I'll go ahead and order the X-Pole…I've seen alot of good things about it and most people seem to like theirs alot. I do have one more question about the x-Pole Xpert…..do I need to completely disassemble it every time? Or can I just remove the base and dome portion and leave the rest of the pole intact? (and stored behind my couch or something?) Thanks!
