My friend Asia, who has never done pole until now, was going upside down and progressing so much faster in after a month or so! I finally accepted that everyone's body is different and that we all progress in different ways. Asia is a bean pole so lifting her body wasn't as hard as it was for me. I need to start working at home on building my abs and arms! Are you doing anything outside of pole class??? Pole is VERY demanding and you need to be strong to do things! It make take you a bit longer, but with determination you will get there! We can do this!!!

I want in!!! I have never been able to do the splits! I will start an album and post progress every couple weeks

I was doing physical therapy after my injury, but it never really got better. When I moved home to Ohio I wasn't doing strenuous activity and it wasn't bothering me, but I hopped on a pole last night and today it is hurting me! I have tricare (military insurance) so I will start the process now on maybe doing physical therapy again, but especially with all the cuts I have a feeling it will take forever! I have some bands from when I injured my ankle so I will get those out! I didn't even think about that, thanks!

Yup Amanda said its a sprung floor and that you should just look up dance floors

I don't really know much about it, but when I go to class on Wednesday I will talk to Amanda about it….I don't know if that's the correct name for it, but when I just googled it I found this link and it kind of talks about it….

@kristy- I know at the studio Amanda has like a springloaded hardwood…it really helps with landing and things especially barefoot
-
@katpole- Ahhh so it is anchored to the floor and wall still….I was wondering how it would be that you could anchor it onto the wood and ceiling. Thanks that does help! I am thinking a trip to the hardware store is in my future!!!
-
@katpole- do you have pics of the stage??? do you use a regular xpole with it??? My husband is military so we are only renting and I really want to have hard floors for practing bc I find it sooo much easier!

I am hoping to start veena's lessons soon too. As of right now AF finance keeps screwing up my husbands pay while he's been on this TDY so I don't want to start anything more that costs money until things get figured out with finance. As of right now the money I am making is being put back so we can fix our second car (I have an 86 dodge daytona shelby that needs a new transmission). Annnnyways……I have a static/spinning pole. I chose the xpert pole because it does both and once I get more advanced I would like to have the option. I tried the spinning pole in class last week and it was CRAZY! Don't think I'm quite ready for that.lol I just recently found out my wrist is reinjured so I have to wear a splint for 3weeks so I am not doing a whole lot right now either, but I can't wait to get back at it all the way!!!! I am hoping by the time my husband comes home in March I will be good enough to do some sexy routines 😉
I have never heard of Zed's Dead…I will have to check them out! thanks!
