I go to loads of other studios for master classes and there are a couple I got to for privates just because I really like the instructors teaching style! My ‘boss’ doesn’t seem to mind! In a way… Its not really her business I’m expanding my own knowledge and passion????

Yeah you can digitally download it!! For like £12ish?? On her website! Or everythingpoledancing.co.uk has the DVD for £25 I think 🙂

As Veena said, intensive stretching should be after your workout! I do a mobiliser followed by a pulse raiser for 5-10 mins then do light stretch holding for 8-10 seconds only before going onto doing pole specific warm up and conditioning exercises

She just seemed to think that being in cup grip is dangerous because there’s nothing to stop me from falling??? Which doesn’t make sense in itself because technically you can fall from any move in any grip. Then she just went on to say that if someone trie to copy my video they would just fall and hurt themselves -

Firstly, even though it’s extremely frustrating watching everyone around you do something easily while your struggling, try not to be hard on yourself! This is your pole journey! For your own development and enjoyment!! Everyone has things they find harder than others.
For the POC, the pole should be right in the knee pit and resting along the bottom side(hamstring) of that leg! Here’s a link to Veenas gallery photo of the move which I found really helpful while doing this move: https://www.studioveena.com/galleries/view/4f883096-2044-453f-befa-26330ac37250
The sitting up thing is just your core strength, personally I feel if you can’t get out of a move safely you should wait until you can. However once your in the correct position you may find it easier?
