OMG, this is a great offer!!! I already have these and just wanted to chime in and say that these DVDs are some of the best on the market! I learned sooooo much from them.

is it titanium or chrome? 45 or 50? I live nearby, in Baltimore. I sold my chrome 45 to my sis in Buffalo and I totally miss it!

I think I just fell in love. I could watch this man on the pole for hours. In fact I think I’d watch him do just about anything. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif Thanks for posting! You made my day!

Jeng, you could go to the one in philly instead at Awakenings. Karol also does on-line workshops through polejunkies. I think there is another set coming up soon. I did one of those and while it wasn’t in person, she explained everything into her webcam and demonstrated all the moves and answered all the questions that were typed in chat format. Maybe you could contact Karol and ask her for a 1 on 1 via Skype.
Just some suggestions, don’t let the Pittsburg thing get you down.

I did her pro pole earlier this year. We did all the drops and falls and she did take requests. I’ve done probably 12 or so of these workshops from well known dancers and hers was one of my favs. She’s an excellent instructor who can break down moves very well. It’s well worth the money.

Jess, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – YOU R AMAZING! From your dancing, to opening your own studio, to thinking of and pulling off the pole convention, to your bombshell looks, to your kind heart. Is there anything you can’t do?? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/alien.gif

I can relate. I totally had the same issue. I focused on other stuff until my tailbone felt better. It was almost as if I bruised it and the pain was with me for at least a month. I have to be very careful now with the CKR and related moves. I make sure I tilt/lean just a tad towards the left or right so that the bone doesn’t contact the pole.
Good luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cyclops_ani.gif

Hey Samantha, I’m not sure where you live, but I am writing a pole teaching curriculum right now. It’s almost finished and I’m getting it copyrighted and then I’m submitting it to ACE for approval. I’m going to be holding a workshop with the girls at a studio near DC, probably in a month or so. I’m dually certified in fitness and pole (ACE & Pole Position Fitness) and I have a Master’s in Education. I’m covering lots of stuff!! Teaching techniques, spotting techniques, joint safety, muscle awareness, evaluating readiness to invert, warm-up and stretching info, developing a lesson plan, modifications/variation, cueing, professionalism, legal info, etc.
Let me know if you are interested!

Thanks for sharing your ‘stuff’ with us, sometimes it’s hard to put it in writing. So glad to hear you are doing better! It’s OK to take a break now and then!! Besides you were still exercising, just in a different format! I get a kick out of you coming back to your pole after a long break and having a great session, it’s sounds kind of like make-up sex. Hehe. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I’ll definitely be there https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif . I live in Baltimore, which is just an hour away, but I might get a hotel room anyway.

Beginners is beginners….intermediate is usually just beginning to learn inverts. Advanced looks more appropriate for you given your pics, but if you have a question, contact Heather at mailto:alwaysdancinonair@gmail.com. She’ll get right back to you. I think thought, that the advanced is sold out, but check with her just to be sure. Hope to see you there!

Is there a facebook invite? I can’t remember. If so, I can pass the news on to all the baltimore girls!
