I like Lady Morrighan, she’s got some good moves. She has two DVDs out. "Pole Dance Studio" has one out, but it’s a choreography, so not sure if you’d like it. Flirty Girl Fitness has some chair DVDs – Chair Fit and Chair Dance. Jamilla also has her ‘Tease’ DVD. It has chair on it.

I’m a dvd junkie and a big fan of her other dvds. I can get it new for $37 from her site. Would you go lower? How will you accept payment? Do you have a paypal? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

What is it about the routine style you don’t like?

If you live within driving range, I HIGHLY recommend you go! You won’t be disappointed. Karol isn’t one of those amazing dancers who can’t communicate how to do the move. Nor is she conceited. She was here in Maryland last weekend for workshops and I was completely impressed. She is very articulate and can explain all the moves well. She has an eye for what you are doing right or wrong to help you improve. Everyone who took the workshop was really happy with it. Karol is sweet, funny, intelligent, and very talented. Go book it now!! I promise you won’t regret it.

Gator Girl I’m with you on this one. As a teacher, I was constantly striving to bring new things into class to keep it fresh. My students were paying money to have the best class possible and I owed it to them to keep them on their toes. I always gave props as to where I picked it up from. I did visit the competion and what I found, I loved. Perhaps the owners are afraid you’ll leave. I also watch videos, and take workshops as often as possible. My studio owner doesn’t dance at all, so she isn’t worried about a particular style or trademark moves. I guess it depends on where you work and what the culture is there. I believe though that if you stay enclosed in a bubble and ignore the outside world that growth is limited. I wouldn’t want to work at a place like that. There is a wonderful pole world out there and dancers need to embrace each other rather than ignore one another.

Hoddska, it sounds to me like you aren’t doing anything wrong. You are a free human being who should be allowed to do whatever the hell you please while you are off the clock as long as you aren’t slandering or hurting your boss. Are Pizza Hut workers banned from getting Dominos?? Silly.

Well, Karol came and went and a good time was had by all!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif I really have to give Karol props. She is a superb teacher! Not only can she do all sorts of exciting moves, but she can explain them all clearly, break them down, and keep you safe from injury as well. She isn’t intimidating and is funny and kind. If you ever get a chance to take a workshop with her, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it!! Worth the $$, every cent!

I was lucky enought to have Karol stay at my house this weekend, and believe it or not she actually sleeps, eats, and does regular stuff just like the rest of us mere mortals!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Karol, that routine is f-ing amazing. Good lord! My fav part is at the end, you look like an angel in the dove. It’s one insane move right into the next. You are on a whole ‘nother level woman! Anyway, enough drooling. What I meant to write before I got all starry eyed was that youtube needs slo-mo. My mind just can’t seem to wrap around the holly drop. Maybe after I try it, it’ll make sense.
