We are planning 12 to 15 contestants. But like I said before, you are a beautiful dancer and we would love to have you.
Emails will be going out to all the final contestants at the end of August, confirming their spots at the Championship and with all the little details of that night. So keep an eye out for it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cyclops_ani.gif -
Veena, I would love you to be one of the contestants in the competition. You are a beautiful dancer!
I know you said it was your husbands birthday though, are you going to be able to commit to the evening of Saturday, October 3? -
The show went really well. It was a lot of fun. I’m going to put a video up once I go through what was shot.

The tickets go on sell next week. Just waiting on the printers. The price is only $30. I’ll keepmake a post as soon as they are available.
Veena- Got you video submission. It was great!!! -
I think Veena would have no problem getting into the competition. All that’s needed for consideration is an unedited 3 to 4 minute video submission. If it’s already on the web, like here or on youtube, just email the link to mailto:anjel@poledancechampion.com
Even if you don’t feel like competing, the networking at this event is going to be exciting for any body with the love for pole dancing. California’s best pole dancers all in one spot for a night of performing and partying! What could be more fun?! -
Veena should absolutely do it!

The pike into the superman is the way I first learned to go into the superman. That’s the thing about being self-taught, you get into most things differant than other dancers. I can do it both ways now, but it’s still so much easier for me toget into it this way. It does take a lot of arm strength though. My tips to my students when doing this is along with the top hand being high, the bottom hand must be placed closer to your stomach for you to push your upper body straight out. Pull up with the top hand, push up with the bottom hand. And the thigh hold on the pole has to be closer in for this version.
Hope this all helps. -
I looked at wikipole (thanks for that, I never knew about it until now) and looked at the Aysha. I do it reverse of that and I’ve never seen it anything but reverse. Where you are upside down and in that same position. Doing it right side up looks like it would so hard. But it looks cool. I’ll have to work on getting it up like in the picture. New pole trick for me (if I get it). Fun!

My pole dance troup is actually doing a performance on the 20th in Venice, Ca. One of the songs we are doing a choreograped routine to is "Dirty Diana". Falls right into this challenge. It will be my first video post on here. Hope it turns out great. 4 very talented pole dancers, so it should, but still, it’s our first performance as a troup.
