That sounds like a great idea Empyrean, I can get glass tiles that are specially for high traffic areas, ie: floors, bathrooms, kitchens! In cases like that, you would get them at wholesale price.

I think that lessons will be good to have, is it easier for you now that you’ve had lessons to be able to put things together ino a routine? or even just improvising? I’m looking forward to doing some lessons with a teacher face to face, it’ll be good to have someone there to show me what needs fixing up and how to do things properly, as I’ve mentioned before it’s bout 2 hours from where I live so have rounded up some family and friends to go for private lessons with me once or twice a month. When you were teaching yourself did you get stuck on what moves to learn next? I’ve watched a few of your videos, they are really good https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I’m live on the far south coast of NSW in a small town called Moruya, it’s 1/2 an hour south of batemans bay and about 2 hours north of bega.

MilienElayne, did you get lessons or are you self taught? How long have you been poling for?

georgiamarie, thanks for the advice about learning all by myself, I have planned to go to once a month to get some private lessons just so they can show me what needs work and posture etc. But was also looking at the jamilla dvds and Veenas online classes. How long have you been poling?

Thank you for that poem, I have 3 boys 2 years 6 years and 10 years old. Sometimes I find it had to spend the quality time with my eldest as the youngest demands so much more. It really makes you think about how we live our lives and what we think are importent, we tend to forget to stop and just be with our kids and not a million other things too.
