You’re going to be SO tired by Saturday night but it’s totally worth it! I feel really lazy now ha ha. I did need a rest though! Have fun!

I am really appreciating my 4 days off! My shoulders are feeling better. My left calf is still very tight and painful but I think it will be much better by Thursday when I pole again. I feel super relaxed despite work, which is an unusual and nice feeling lol.

Two lessons since I last posted and I am DONE for this week! My shoulders need a break now! Happy with my progress though. Hope everyone’s had a good week/Thanksgiving and you’re all enjoying your weekends 🙂

Awesome lesson! I worked HARD! I got a new move but I can’t remember what it was called or what I did lol. It was at the start of the lesson and my brain has packed in since then. I’ve got to urgently start working on my flexibility. That’s going to be my biggest blocker with the moves coming up in the future. My hip flexors, upper back and shoulders are especially stiff. I have a new focus!

Sorry your back was bad db 🙁 That’s good that it’s getting better though. Enjoy dance class!

Fab private lesson tonight. I did my combo all the way through with only a few weird noises of effort (lol). I also got a handstand! Ok, only from sliding down the pole – not actually springing into one – but it was a bit of a nemesis so I’m very happy. We also did some more spinny pole, yay! Now I’m home I’ve done some back and shoulder stretches too.
Hope everyone else is getting on okay?

Thanks GS! Wow, you’ve been busy 🙂 I had a good pole lesson in the end, though it’s frustrating feeling so exhausted all the time. I managed my combo all the way through – woohoo! We also tried pencil on spinny. I’ve been sneaking a few minutes each class on the spinny stage pole and I love it 😀 I’m going to practice at home!

I’m sick again 🙁 which is why there haven’t been any updates. So tired and drained. It’s 100% because of work stress. I really struggled to finish class on Thursday. I’ve got a private lesson booked today but I don’t think I’m going to be able to invert and practice my combo. When I make cups of tea, I’m having to lift the kettle with both hands because it feels so heavy! My body’s like 1000 times heavier! I might cancel the lesson and lose the money so I can stay home and keep recovering. Grrrrr 🙁

I hear you on the freedance frustration! I have that even on static 😀 Enjoy the workshop tonight. I’m looking forward to class, though still very tired.

Hope your neighbour’s lesson goes well 🙂
I waa gutted to miss pole class yesterday. I had to travel for work so I set off crazy early and couldn’t do my morning exercises. Then my boss called and asked me to go on to another client meeting later in the day. I had been going to travel straight from meetings to class, but instead I ended up getting home just before 10 pm. I’m knackered. There’s another class tonight though.

Morning exercises and a private pole class done. In class I tried a spin I haven’t managed before (crossover spin) and got it on my good side. The bad side has some catching up to do but still made a good effort! Then I ruined my hard work by eating a giant bag of crisps (potato chips) and a large bar of chocolate afterwards. When will I learn not to go food shopping when I’m hungry?!

I feel guilty about my unproductive sick day, so I just did some shoulder mount prep from the floor and a couple of back stretches.

Hi Serena and Savy! Good luck with your poling. Savy, I’m more of a group/every few days communicator but I hope you get a taker for a daily message – fingers crossed and congratulations on your wedding coming up 🙂
I was up at 5 but sadly it was because I was feeling ill last night and had been awake since just before 4 🙁 so no exercises this morning and I cancelled the day’s plans to return to bed for a while. I’ll work from home today.

Morning exercises done, but no poling today. I’m out tomorrow but I’ve set my alarm for 5.00 so I can exercise before leaving the house. I might reset it though…
