Thanks margie, I think I may even have some aloe vera gel lying around the house. Would be nice to use something natural too, instead of steroid creams and the like. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Yeah I tried my pole on spinny mode for the first time last night. I just jumped into fireman position and went round and round until I had to just jump off! It goes so fast, but I think I also have an issue with trusting a spinning pole…!

Well i’ve had it about a week and a half, and have probably done 4 long sessions. I’m trying to be careful to take breaks in between to let my muscles rest. Was on it for about 2-3 hours last night, went really well. Got the plank and crucifix down now, which i’m pleased about. Bf had a go on it, and nearly pulled the whole thing down! So now he’s banned https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

The lump is probably just the blood clot under your skin, where the bleed is healing itself. It’s actually kind of a good sign. Obviously it may need to be checked out if it doesn’t go away. Arnica is supposed to be good for bruises. You can get it in cream or tablet form. Also, apparently if you rub your bruises after they happen, and before they appear if you can (sore, I know!), it can prevent the area getting all brown and bruised-looking, as it helps the blood to move around.

Okay you know I am completely unqualified to give any advice, I can’t even sit on the pole yet, lol! Just want to say good luck with the CKR, I hope you get it, that move looks so good! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Yeah I had a bit of a rocky start with the implant, but it’s working out now. Thanks for all the info about the cup, it’s difficult to get honest info about these things. I’ll definitely consider it when I start needing that stuff again https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I don’t really get periods at the moment (thanks to implanon! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif) but the wholw cup idea intruiges me, but i’m not totally convinced. The thing I like about pads/tampons is that after 3/4 hours you change them and its all fresh! 12 hours seems like a long time to leave stuff down there… (I know it sounds totally gross, but I felt I had to ask!)

Also, does it not take ages to trust it! I think i’d be really paranoid!

I didn’t time it, but it was quicker and easier than I had thought it would be. Took me a lot longer the first time! If i had to guess, it would be about 15 mins, maybe less…

Yep thats exactly what I did, then stood on the arm of the couch to put the dome on top. A tip though, make sure everything is within arms reach.. I had to perform some pretty outrageous gymnastic moves to reach the allen key to loosen the screwy bit while still holding the pole. Boyfriend was watching me on skype (with webcam). Slightly embarrassing! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Yeah it was just a cardboard box, but it was the most glorious cardboard box i’d ever seen because i knew my pole was in it, haha! Yeah the poles at my bfs place, i’ll get some pics for you today if you want https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Having heard what the old adjuster cover was like, i’d say that the one they have now is probably better.
