    Hey,

They put a product called Lock-tite on the threads of the screws for shipping to stop them coming out and getting lost
It’s a pain but just put the allan key in as far as it will and really lean on it the screws only move about a half turn in total so once lose it should slide out easy. Good luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

The new poles i found to be really easy once i had worked out that they put Lock-tite on the grub screws for travel and found once you really lean on them and break that (lock-tite) it was a snap but i wondered why no screws moved at all till i found that out.

If anyone has any questions about putting one up let me know and ill try and explan it (dont have a camera for making a vid sorry )

Climbing is a great way to build some ‘guns’
But my teacher has surgested that instead of sliding down slowly lower myself down with my arms ( as i was also at a pole rut and not doing much) so climbing in reverse so to speak. It’s great and works really well.

    Hey ya,

This moves a bit of fun its a combo ya cant go half way in i use double cup hold for my hands. Now as you go up and start to go over you really need to put some energy in and really throw yaself up if ya try and go slow i found it to be really painful and off ballance also dont try to stopyourself in the flag just let a legs swing down then back up otherwise youll do yaself some damage. if i had a cam try and make a break down of it for you but im affrai i have none if you have any questions that i mayb abe to answer let me know. good luck with it!

Hey mate, i learnt first off with the baseball grip then went on to the twisted grip the twisted grip feels odd but it seems more secure i still perfure the baseball grip though as its easier to do more out of it.
    hope that helps.

If you still want a fixed pole you could try having a chat with a local engernering work shop they shoud be able to whack up a 45mm ss pole easy, as i looked at that when i was after a pole and its cheap as and you can say what gauge ss you want i was looking at a 3000mm pole with 2.5mm wall size and they quoted $180NZD, it would easily take 400kg+.

Is there a man hole to get into the ceiling? in NZ at least they are normally in a wardrobe or another conceled place then just grab a torch and have a look to see where the timbers run. If there is no man hole you could go into a conceled place like a wardrobe and drill a small hole to see whats up there it could be a case plasterbaord over timber sarking depending on thickness of the sarking normal size is 15mm – 25mm you could put the pole anywhere if its over 18mm.

    Hey ya,
Pole position on the shoulder can affect how much pain you’ll recive i’ve found that keeping the pole close to the neck can hurt like hell so for some moves such as the SM i move the possition of the pole. depending on what shoulder you use to lift on ( I’ll explane based on a right shoulder lift ) if you hold your arm so its at 90 degrees to your body you’ll notice that at the tip of the coller bone on the outside of your shoulder is now in a little hollow? Now if you can keep your arm as close to 90 degrees when your lifting you can place the pole in that hollow and it hopefully will lessen the pain. I dont have a camera im affraid so cant post a vid but i hope that helps https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I was hoping not to use an aid to stick as at some point im gona have to be able to stick with out ’em.
More homework i guess is needed.
