I just found this https://www.thepoledancingshop.com/x-pole-extensions-canada/
Maybe they will ship with better conditions?
Good luck! -
I have recently bought a 175 mm extension at a german online store but I don’t know if they ship to Canada. How about contacting X-Pole for a list of retailers?

I’d love a spinning pole programme!

I have and probably always will have issues with the way my belly looks like. After having 2 children the skin is all flabby and strech-marked and I guess this won’t change (the younger “baby” turned 4 yrs last week…). And my breasts which were never big now are saggy and flat in a non padded top.
I can’t imagine to post pictures with a bare belly, most times I don’t even like to have it uncovered when working out home alone. I am very happy I have found some lovely leotards so I can do hip holds and still keep my mid covered!
Though I know you should not compare yourself with others it’s pretty hard sometimes. But it helps a lot to know you are not alone and that perfect image that social media promotes usually isn’t the whole reality!

Here are two labels that also offer nice leotards:
Have a look at backbone polewear, a small greek label. I think they design with love and ship quite fast.
Another option is wink fitnesswear (UK based). Great quality and customer service! -
I had severe problems with this last year, too. For me giving it time, time and more time was the best thing to do. I put away the pole for 3 months. It was quite frustrating, but I had to learn that taking a break doesn’t mean you totally quit (thanks Veena for your great video on this).
I took physiotherapy twice a week. The therapist found out I had disbalances and tensions in my torso/back/arms. In the end this overall disbalance put too much tension on my elbows tendons. So I did exercises to make my whole core more stable. Comfrey salve, infrared light and an elbow brace/dressing were helpful, too. I also realized things were getting worse when I was angry and stressed, this was causing my body to get even more tense. I noticed I was clenching my fists and arms when sleeping, again putting strain on my elbow. Maybe it will be helpful for you to check on these things, too?
As my problems were mainly caused by tension, I kept/keep warm when it’s cold outside wearing long sleeves and gloves, and I try to listen to my body when working out and stop when I feel to much strain.
Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Hi Domolovestea,
I’m afraid I can’t give you any advice, but I can tell you you are not alone! I have rather curse and thick hair (not afro-textured though). When doing hair flips it gets stuck in very weird, fluffy shapes. Just as if I had been headbanging at a heavy metal concert :-)) At the moment I prefer to keep my hair up in a bun while dancing… Maybe we should just tell ourselves that sexy comes from the inside and not from things like hair, a skinny body or whatever… -
I keep one, too! After each training session I write down the moves I have worked on, as well as ideas for my next workout. I like to quickly take a peek in my journal and think over the moves/routines every now and then (when cooking, cleaning). I am the kind of person having a really hard time remembering this kind of stuff 🙂
I also have a list of goals/moves I would like to achieve. -
Thank you so much for your quick response! I will definitely give it a try! 💪✨
