@Koidragon, I’ll message you but I am basically self taught on/off *mostly off* of pole. Now back at it again, and thanks for the advice 🙂

@Koidragon, Everything. Lol. Weight is against me as well. I can do about 10 push ups if that helps to know where I am, and their the girly kind. I need to build strength in all areas, but mostly to progress in pole I need arms. Surprisingly core is so-so, I got some, but I think adding weights to pole routine will help to get me farther than I currently am, lets just say I can barely get up in my invert from the ground. If that gives you a strength idea. Kindof after a basic strength routine that i can use my free weights with.

It is, the last i checked its around %50 depending on the thickness and how long yo do get, and if they can cut it straight. Plus on top of it your then spending however you $$$$ on fabric. I have gone back and forth on this idea, making the slip cover would be easy, but you dont want fabric that will be loose on it either. So not sure, but I am going to check walmart/target for those mats as well. I think I need something plus soften the sound of me falling, I raddled the walls the other night. But honestly, I don’t care, lol.

Oo thanks!!! I wonder if you can add Velcro and have them stayed connected that way? I saw the mighty grip ones, I like them, but a tad pricey for what I want to spend, I also thought about going to JOann’s and getting foam and making a slip cover for them? Would that work too? *being crafty*

I have seen before, Veena which one would you recommend, since i notice that their was different types you can buy?? I have sweaty hands all the time. I usually wash them before I pole. But in the middle I get sweaty again. And I thought you were not suppose to lotion at all the days you pole?! Is that the only brand of lotion i can use on the days I pole, or would bath and body works too?! *love me some bath and body* 🙂

CloSmo, I actually been wondering this question myself! I just started poling again and did the 30 day take off program, it was awesome 🙂 by the way 🙂 I been doing cardio in between time. But I can also eat better and trying to get into the habit. I told myself I can eat out once a week, so far so good, and i gone down on my pop 🙁 Which is better for me, in the long run. I do want to incorporate more stuff as well, but I agree I don't want to over due it, but since i never worked out constant in my life time, i figure i can do two hours of working out, helps me sleep better! I'm glad i'm not the only person on here who has been thinking the same question!! Keep up the good work https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I just recently started back at pole myself after a few years, and I am doing veena's take off lessons, and i have gotten so much farther than when I first started out, not that they were good before,  but for me it is just easier to follow a plan 🙂 It is also making me more accountable to pole as well!! Good luck I hope it helps!!

Veena, I bought a hoop just recently (several months ago) lol and just now picked it up again!! I will have to try to make one now that you got the video up 🙂 I did a basic cardio today, but i hooped through a whole song (2 mins) roughly and only dropped the hoop twice, once was just dropping and the other going the other direction! I was surprised!! Anyhoo! Tmrw back to doing strength! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Thanks for putting them on here!!

For me just the last few years i had let my self go! So Im trying to get back on the bandwagon and get into a good health. I just don't know how to get there and fitness these days are soo expensive! Thats why i thought of counting calories, b'c it is true what you intake and what you outake is two different things and you need to eat less than what you burn!!

SO Idk, im on this life exercises journey and have issues staying motivated lol…the want is there the need is there, but after a couple of days i fall out lol. oh well…
