I have those dvds they are good but the moves aren’t in any real order so difficult to build strength to progress to harder moves. I also have the art of pole series these are brilliant, in a good order of difficulty and easy to follow

I found keeping my body twisted around the pole a good way to get used to letting go while upside down. I was lucky as I was always hanging upside down on my climbing frame as a child so was already very used to it lol

I know people have used foam mattresses before so should be ok. I used to use my bed duvet but that was rubbish lol

Getting a mat is a good idea wouldn’t be without mine. I am trying to do at least one brass monkey each practice to feel more confident. My advanced plank took ages to click but I loved CAR from the first attempt lol

Go for the xpert as it can be spinning or static the best of both worlds 🙂

I started with a 50 and wasn’t totally happy with it I kept thinking about selling it then I would change my mindlol finally I decided to sell it and get a 45 and it was the best decision ever. I love my 45 and now I am 100% happy with my pole
