  • I LOVED LOVED LOVED Brook Notary's workshop in VA! She is amazing. Great personality, extremely creative and makes you feel comfortable. Her workshop wasn't about tricks, but was more about feeling the music and expression during pole dance. We did choreo, but they way she encouraged everyone to add their own style was fantastic. I remember watching all the girls at the end of the workshop when she had us to perform in groups…although everyone was doing the same choreo everyone had their own thing going on which was amazing to watch I had never seen anything like it!

    Welcome to StudioVeena. There are a lot of great studios here in Michigan. I would recommend you take a few classes to get you started. Trying to learn at home alone in the beginning is pretty difficult and discouraging sometimes. Make sure you are cross training in between sessions.

    We have 3 locations in Michigan (detroit, pontiac and Ypsilanti). We also offer classes that will help you cross train in between pole dance classes such as Pole Fit and Tush & Abs just to name a few.

    The last response I got back was dated 9/2 stating that it would ship within the week and it is almost a month later and still no DVD. It kinda sucks because I can’t just request a refund via paypal as it is beyond the 45 day period policy. When I first saw the preview of the DVD I was really excited and rushed to order it immediately. Well let’s just say my excitement has worn wayyyyyyyyyy off and I hope this is worth the wait. I still don’t understand how something like a DVD was sold that was not even sitting on the shelf to be shipped.

    So sorry about that. I am really not trying to be difficult. We had some technical difficulties in the duplication process. I had to change duplication houses, and run the whole mass order again. I am really sorry for the inconvenience. They will ship as soon as we receive them, which should be early this coming week at the latest. Once again, I apologize, this was never my intention.

    Has anyone else received theirs yet? I placed my order on 7/7 and have not received it yet. I was really excited about it, but can’t get a response back regarding the order. I was thinking maybe it was on back order or something. It read 4-6 weeks and I am heading into week 8 https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

    I ordered mine within a few days of you. I wrote that I wanted a full refund because it had been over six weeks and Shawn wrote me back saying that they had a problem with the distribution house and they had to do the whole order again. That was two weeks ago. If I don’t get it this week, I will be emailing again. I understand that sometimes you run into problems but it would be nice if we were kept updated on our order like any other respecting company.

    I totally agree. I just sent another email and hopefully I will get a response this time. I understand that things happen so if I could just get an explanation/response that would be fine. I will keep you guys posted!
