I didn't feel like I was making proper progress until I starting going to my local circus school. There we do LOTS of front, back, and side kicks.. and are encouraged to do these everyday – for strong hips, glutes, and hip flexors. Also do a lot of dancing (ballet, modern, etc), not necessarily for calorie burning, but for beautiful body extensions, shapes, r.o.m, style ect:)

I have this same problem! Sometimes my hands can sweat profusely… I've tried EVERYTHING on the market. For me, it depends on the pole surface and the enviornmental conditions. B/c some grips work ok for some conditions and not at all for others. Previously I've been using mighty grip for lil mynx poles… this hasn't worked for platinum stages poles… so now I'm using dry hands for that.
Gloves don't work.. the surface area of the glove that covers the palm of your hands is not flexible… so it doesn't have enough surface area that's touching the pole to make it grip well..not sure if that make sense?
So far these are the main ones that I use, but I have to CONSTANTLY keep reaaplying and then kind of waiting for the pole to dry/air out before doing something else on it:)

I like their Raw Reserve powders… for extra protein I use Jay Robb's whey protein – casien free, comes from grass fed cows, no growth hormone, no ariticial sugars and retains the healthy immunoglobins. A low cal way to meet the daily protein intake on those needed days:)

Pole: 2-3x a week (30min-1.5hours)
Stretching/Conditioning: everyday (about 5 days a week right now lol)
Regular Yoga: 1-2x a week
Acrobatic training(handstands,core,some chinese pole) 1x a week (1.5hours)
Contortion: 1x a week (1.5 hours)
Gymtime: 1-2x a week (cardio, free weights, pull ups, etc)
Try to fit a dance class in once a week if possible (modern, ballet)

@sair that sounds awesome! Santa Monica yeah! Are you girls sharing rooms or are looking for roomates for the rest of the stay?
Also, I don't think bespun wil be having any daytime classes b/c they'll be having the pole camp during the day. But they'll be having their regular evening classes! Which should be fun! I'd really wanna spend more time there hmmm….
