    I have a horrible sweet tooth. Before I started poleing and working out, it was really hard for me to find snacks that both satisfied me and were good for me. ESPECIALLY when all I wanted was chocolate. But! Here's a small recipe for something that helped me curb my sweet tooth: 

    Try juiceing for 4 days to 1 week before hand. It's very hard to do, but even three days of juice seems to help cut down the sugar intake. Depending on your lifestyle, you might not be able to do a full on juice fast. For instance, I was only able to juice as a snack because of my job. But it really did help only have chicken salad and my juice blend. 

    Second, switch up your snacks. When I really wanted sugar (read: chocolate/that time of the month) I would make a fruit salad. Apples, cranberries, dark chocolate morsals, strawberries, and two squeezed lemons as a dressing. The natural sugar from the fruit was enough for me to go on with my day, and the tiny chocolate chips in the fruit really helped me. Also, some bubbly or a nice glass of sweet red wine ;D Ports are quite nice.  

    If you have a salt or crunch craving, try snap peas or an almond blend. Like trail mix, but without the dried fruit and m&ms. There are many websites that offer very healthy trail mix type recipes that you could check out :3

    But one leg at a time instead of two. If you can do one leg at a time horizontal with the floor, you can do middle splits

    Here's how you can tell if you are ever able to physically achieve the splits (and some people cannot.) 

    Stand up. Raise one leg forward straight so that it's horizontal with the floor. Bring both legs back to regular standing postion. Stretch that same leg backwards to be almost horziontal with the floor. If you can do both of these, you can surely do it!

    For middle splits, it's the same thing, you just do it horizontally to the side. I'm unable to ever achieve middle splits because of my hips, but I can achieve a very very wide V leg if I tried harder to stretch my legs (what has two thumbs and is ultra lazy….)

    Her last pose, at 3:30. Is that a superpain variation? Music Box? I can't tell, it's burning my mind |: If anyone would like to take a shot as to how to achieve this (preferabbly in slow motion) I'd really appreciate it. I've played the video back like, 60 times and still don't understand.

    I don't know why people are saying you're never going to make money on the pole. So much of it is the club's factor. I've made $70 on ONE stage and average about $60 a night JUST from stages. Granted, I don't make more than $120 ever on dayshift (I mostly work days, though). A majority of your money is talking to guys. You also DON'T have to be a hustler to make money. I would make a hell of a lot more if I DID hustle, but I refuse to. I also refuse to booty pop. Sure, these things lose me money, but if I'm going to do a job I absolutely hate, I should atleast be happy and comfortable with myself in what I'm doing. Everything has the potential to lose you money in that job. Do you have kids? Is it obvious you have kids (through tattoos, jewelery, etc)? Are you married? Do you have any tattoos? Are you a blond? So many random factors that will either make it or break it depending on the customer. 

    I've been told I'm an amazing dancer (even though I'm just not seeing it) but there are some clubs that I've worked in where I've legitimately never made more than $10 on stage in a shift. Most clubs are like that. That whole industry is about luck, and statistics. But as a general rule, unless you're turning tricks it's pretty hard for me to make more than $700 a week working 2 doubles and 3 regular shifts.

    This is great! I always read reviews for clubs on Yelp before I apply at them, but it won't tell you things from a dancer's perspective (like whether or not the manager is a creep, or if he will hustle you into selling your perscription drugs in his club for a profit. Yeah, seriously, people like this exist and it's a bummer to deal with.)

    As an exotic dancer I see all ends of the spectrum; from couples who go together for something as close to live porn on their mate as they'll ever get, to bachlors, to bachlor parties. In my opinion, I find the guys who are a part of the party much more respectful. It isn't uncommon for there to be a group of guys with one of them getting married, and the party only paying for dances for that guy. The groom-to-be gets molested all night and the rest of the guys sorrowfully look around for a couple of reasons; 1) they feel bad for being there without their wife 2) they feel bad for thinking about being there and doing things with these girls, almost like they're cheating on their better halves just by being there 3) they get a dance or two to reinforce that their wife is the woman that they're with for the rest of their life.  

    I've never had a married man come into my club and say, "man, I really screwed up marrying my wife, thanks for showing me that." If anything it's like…a kid going to a slumberparty. It's fun for the day you're there, and you want to stay for a bit. But you know that isn't your home, you wouldn't be sleeping in your familiar, awesome bed, and there will always be a part of you wanting to go home. It's entertaining, but it doesn't "feel" right, you know? 

    I'm not sure if you were just looking to vent or actually get answers/suggestions. But I used to have this problem BEFORE I was a dancer. Granted, I had super low self esteem. But something that really helped me (and something I see other couples do alllll the time) is, before a bachelor party, go to the club, and find a girl that you are comfortable with. OR a group of girls. Girls you who you've talked to for a while, other dancers have no qualms with, regular customers joke about her. A CLEAN dancer. And because you know her, you can tell your hubby that if he really feels a need for a lapdance, he can get a dance from that person(s). My boyfriend and I went to a club, found a dancer named Hannah that we both liked, and then he would go to the club without me sometimes. There's no garentee that he didn't get a dance from other girls while I wasn't there, but when you have trust in a relationship, there's no reason to worry. Plus, Hannah taught me a lot of things (;D) and told him a lot of what I would enjoy. I won't lie, though, it's hard finding a girl who isn't a hustler, and for ONE event, might be more effort than it's worth.

    Honestly, one of the most understated pole outfits are swimsuits. No, really, being 100% serious. 

    I often wear an old bandaeu top over a tiny sports bra, and I always get compliments at the studio. Not sure how well you would do in say…a competition with something like that. But I like how flirty and girl and effortless and CHEAP it is 😛

    My delete button seems to have disappeared. What I meant is, the difference between the way that I invert and the way many other polers invert is I straighten my legs BEFORE I tilt back, but still sitting up. And that's what works for me.

I just go tuck –> straighten legs –> LEAN back instead of forcing my hips "up" because gravity works with me easier when my body isn't in a little ball. But I have long legs, so that might be why 😛

    I never did the tuck n tilt. I just automatically started inverting with my legs straight. It's hard to explain, so I made a video and put it on youtube. I hope it helps?
