Oh no!!!! Sorry!!!!! I didn’t think you were angry at people (like me) for not commenting. You explained perfectly well that EVERYONE has videos that doesn’t draw a big response from people. I was just admitting I did that to you as well (yes the owner of the place!)
Charley… I’ve been on your profile and I couldn’t see any videos from you https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif but I did leave a comment on your profile about your pics and you are amazing https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I know we’re all pretty comfortable with each other now but when I read that headline and first sentence…. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif
I would love to dance in high heels, but I don’t have proper dance shoes. I only own two high heels and they’re both stilettos so I worry about landing hard and snapping off the heel. I do sometimes dance in heels but only for spins. I kinda like dancing in bare feet anyway, I feel like a graceful hobo https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rabbit.gif

I’m sorry pole-twista. I’m guilty of being one of those people who watches your dances and doesn’t comment on them. But I’ve seen a few of your dances and I think I have commented on one or two of them. But please don’t think it’s a popularity contest, I’ve even done that to Veena, including that California Girls video she mentioned. She owns this website and could easily delete my account (please don’t Veena, I’m sorry for not commenting!) And I disagree with charley about ‘bland’ comments, it let’s you know you’re getting a reaction from your audience. But I don’t leave comments on every single video I see because it’s not in my habit to do so. If you look at the number of views any video gets, the number of comments on the video will always be significantly less than the views.
charley… I don’t think I’ve seen any of your videos. There’s a lot of people posting videos and it’s hard to keep up. But after I’ve posted this reply, I’m going to watch one of your videos, and I don’t care how bland I come across, I’m still going to post a comment. I just can’t promise I’ll comment on every one of your videos https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

Hi Sam,
We saw the Close Up piece last week when the link was posted on this site. It was a really good, and Sonia was amazing https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Did you make an appearance?
If you have a few minutes to spare on a Saturday morning or afternoon, hop on to chat here and you’ll meet heaps of the lovely members on this site. -
Hahaha… untamedshrew, I would kiss trees as well, but the bark gets stuck on my lipgloss and that ain’t pretty.
Greenpeace? Ah… I’m just a regular volunteer bum at the office. At the moment I’m putting data on spreadsheets – so not fun but I like to think I’m helping the environment https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif -

And as long as you keep up pole dancing or other fitness activities, you shouldn’t worry about how much you weigh because size isn’t an indicator of how healthy you are. I have a friend who is size 6/USA size 0 and she did no exercise and has a high cholestrol and her doctor estimates her death at 30. She’s known this since she was 16 and she’s 23 now and has only recently started exercising and by that I mean she goes for a short walk around a lake (still better than nothing.) My point is, wouldn’t you rather be big and healthy than skinny and dying?

I agree with Sonia, Rouge and Yogobeachbabe. Jamilla was amazing when I met her. So sweet and not up herself at all. So I’ll repeat Rouge and Yogobeachbabe, if you get the opportunity to go to her lesson – GO!

Is this an American celebration? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif Coz I just spent all morning in a Greenpeace office and I didn’t hear anything about it. Nonetheless, I wish everyone a great Earth Day! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/alien.gif

This has to be the best thread!
I’ve released a biggie (in hushed voice) after sex while I was sitting on my then boyfriend’s lap. He said he liked the vibration! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_shaking.gif I’m not sure if I should believe him because he never did let me do it again after that https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
I haven’t had it happen while hanging upside down from a pole yet, but I look forward to it and I hope it’ll be loud and proud! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_salut.gif -
Awww thanks guys, you’ve given me really good advice. And now everyone must think I’m an idiot for aggravating something that I know hurts, but I couldn’t help it! I just wanted to know if it had disappeared. I’m like that with bruises as well, I’ll keep poking it even if it hurts a lot! I must like pain or something https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_blackeye.gif
I’ll leave the nerve alone for now and try massaging it once it’s less sensitive. Thanks for the support girls https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gifAnd Veena… I wish I knew how you manage to get nerve damage from sewing! lol

Oh pole-twista, you sound like you’re having a really rough time, don’t give up. I hope you achieve your dream too.
I’ve had my pole since September, but I had a three month break to go overseas. I’m an October child, I turned 23 last year. I’m 1.64cm or 5’4" and I weigh roughly 50kg or 110 pounds.
In the past I’ve done rock climbing and I was a sprinter. My extensive dancing history includes doing the chicken dance, the macarena, the hokey pokey, the hitch hiker, bus driver, the lawn mower and drunken dancing in the clubs (and sometimes combining all those dances in the clubs- oh no!) But pole dancing is the only form that actually challenges me, I’m just a natural at the other dances https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif

I just watched the video! I’m glad your hard work paid off. It was amazing Veena, you’re sooooooo talented. Congratulations!!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Sonia had nothing to be nervous about! She was amazing!!!! She looked really beautiful and she really rocked the pole. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif
It’s available online now, I’ve put the link below. There’s a huge piece on prostitution (and it’s quite shocking!) before they actually show Sonia. So if you want to skip all of that, drag your cursor over the video screen and a menu should appear, then click on Chapter 3. If my link doesn’t work then Google ‘TVNZ Close Up’. Once the website pops up, in the left hand menu, click on Monday, 20 Apr 2009. That should do the trick https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
