My 2 cents. I havent posted in a while but saw this thread. When I first started poling about a year and half ago I experienced some serious forearm pain. Even to the point where I couldn’t lift my arms for over a week. I was very discouraged about poling and did lots of research. I began doing the forearm and wrist exercises here..especially the one with the tennis ball. I kept the tennis ball in my car and worked it everyday. In time the pain went away. I would definitely say that tennis ball was my saving grace and really helped strengthen my grip. I don’t pole as often as I would like to now, however because I really took the time to strengthen my grip forearm pain is almost non existent and as soon as I feel the slightest bit of discomfort I get going with my tennis ball!

This happened with my shoulder mount. I nailed several times in a row for a few days. Then stopped practicing it for a while and now its gone.

I think its my ceiling, cuz I had it in two different rooms and it does this..may also be my weight cuz Im no skinny minny…Ive since just submitted to the idea of getting an xpole. Ill still use the veena pole for static training.

I find spin mode to be challenging on this pole. It loosens the mount and becomes very unstable. I may have to invest in an xpole.

My son 8..has no interest in the pole. My daughter 5 loves the pile and told me she was “born” to do this…She even told me she’s better than me! She is really good at holds..but I have to watch her closely because she will try to jump into a spin with so much momentum. Just keep a watchful eye and monitor them..I think its all good!

@lilmissRe….keep at it! If you get a chance look at my first video. I really struggled with the climb and altough it still needs work I am much better than where I started. You will be amazed at the strength you will gain over time!
