I bought Mika shorts off amazon a few months ago (having never heard of the brand) and I adore them – my favouritist shorts! They are ones with drawstrings up the side so I can make them longer or shorts and fit my sizeable booty without riding up into my butt crack.
Intending to buy lots more when I have spare pennies 🙂

I have a piece of mdf about 3/4 of a metre square, covered in a yoga matt between my ceiling and the pole and my pole has been up for about 8 months with no issues, but then again I don't use it daily!

Climb up and hold regularly, grip with hands and swing body around to the front of the pole, grip with legs, the feed your inside hand under the outside arm (still gripping the pole) and grasp behind head, then you can arch and flick up back leg…
Might not be the best explanation but can be done!

I recommend driclor!!
I started poling in April and really struggled with sweating hands, I’d need to wipe the pole after every move or my hands would slip… I wanted to enter a competition in December, but every time I tried to do my routine I’d have to stop and wipe the pole, which you can’t really do on stage. I’d tried chalks, mighty grip, ecoballs, glaves and none of it worked for more than 2 or 3 moves.
My teacher recommended driclor, as it actually blocks the sweat glands, stopping them from producing sweat. I used it for the 2 weeks before the competition ever night before bed and now I rarely have sweaty hands at all! I still use an ecoball when poling normally, but more for a just in case than out of necessity.
It’s about £6 from boots https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
You can also use it on underarms, but don’t use it after shaving, stings like a bi-atch!
Best of luck chick xx
