I am so sorry. That’s horrid! I would just block them.
Unfortunately we can’t flag people for being mean and idiotic (and on top of all of that liars- you are not fat) – wish we could.

Well, whoever it is still has their page up and I am guessing there is no way to prescreen videos being put up.
I think it is safe to assume IF they reupload the video again and the complaint again is that this person is uploading abusive videos then they will likely be shut down.
I would guess if after they are shutdown and the open a new account doing the same bs youtube will block their IP.

As of 5:02 PM the video has been removed!
I flagged it as abusive – promoting violence and hatred – and told youtube it referred to people in a derogatory manner based on religion, ethnicity and sexual preference.

Flagged!
If you look under the subscriptions there are about 20 pole dancers this person is subscribed to and likely going to harass.
It’s really disgusting and truly this person has absolutely no life. That must have taken an awful lot of time to get all those videos.
I am really saddened – I hope everyone is okay.
Hugs everyone!

Anyone interested please email mailto:getpolefit@gmail.com. Please include your name and a telephone number.
I am putting together a list now. Feel free to tell your friends about it. As the date gets closer I will call and confirm everyone and give everyone the pricing info – we haven’t set a price as of yet. I am in talks with the studios to see what they want to charge ME for the rental.
Just a note the beginner/intermediate will not be for new students sadly – this is a class that will require some pole knowledge – you will have had to have taken a class, taken online lessons or have some pole experience.
If anyone wants to travel for this I have room to set someone up. I am sure a couple of other people will be able to host an out of town pole dancer too =)
As soon as everything is set you will be able to get information off my website http://www.michiganpoledance.com or Wendy’s website http://www.newyorkpoledancing.com
*Veena, thank you so much for letting me put this out there on this board. Because this is such a rare opportunity in Michigan to get to train with some of such a high caliber in person, SV members have first dibs on class spots.

https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif Chrome is great!
I just swapped my stainless out for my X-pole a few months ago and was so happy I didn’t have the warm the pole up time I usually have with stainless on the bad side I just run up and do tricks so I am not warming me up. My poor x-pole I was so prejudiced against it.
Where are you taking lessons? Are you using x-pole in your classes? What kind of pole do you have now?
If it’s an LM stainless (I loathe them) they seem to be much slippier than the Platinum Stages.
Congrats on all of those moves!!!!! That is a lot of progress in 3 visits! NOW YOU HAVE TO COME OUT FOR POLE JAMS https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Glitter – I don’t know if it helps but the 4th is a Tuesday so not the weekend.
I am really excited. I still haven’t let the cat out of the bag to my students yet which is so hard because so many of them would love to do this but am holding spots for forums members and friends.
So as of today I only have enough room for 9 people in Beginner/Intermediate and I only have 6 spots available for advanced. It’s first come first serve – the classes won’t be advertised for a couple of weeks yet.
*the advanced class will probably end up being limited to 4 but tentatively I will try for 6 people but think it will be too many.
*Beginner/Intermediate will most likely be more intermediate based with harder spins, spin combos, climbing and inversion.

Who is Lisa Lewis?
Anyway – I am glad there is a thread about this. I hope everyone reads it and takes the advice to heart. I teach inverting after spins and freestyle are mastered not to mention they can hold themselves in a pole up for 15 seconds and a number of other things.
It’s not all about inverting anyway – I’d rather see someone dance then trick all day long.

^^ I had no idea you could have the seams taken in! I bought the boots then gave them away because they didn’t fit right =( I LOVE the grippiness of boots like that and have always been jelous of friends who could find them and get them to fit right!
I went for stiff tops after which are great but like I said my black pair fights against me lol! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

My only concern with those boots is that if they do not hug the calf super tight they will fall down when you invert. I had a pair like that – that I gave away because they fell down. But if they fit your calf well then they are super grippy and great for pole work.
I have a white pair of pleaser stiff tops that I love. Another pair in black that don’t grip well and I just got a pair of thigh black patent leather stiff top boots – haven’t poled in them yet but they should be pretty grippy.

I am so excited. I cannot wait to meet her and get a private lesson!

Definitely talk to Joel first and send him your plans. I think I know the plan you are talking about it and if it’s the same one I am thinking it will cost you over $50 to make. It will be closer to $70-$100.
For the floors you can always get a non skid pad – can be ordered through Lil Mynx or you can can use a yoga mat. If it’s only attaching at the ceiling and you have hard wood floors I’d suggest using a rug or something underneath it because I had a pole that attached at the ceiling and even on carpet the bottom would move out (this was spring loaded but you don’t want any scratches on hard wood floors.)
I built a stage last year and it was over $100 just for the stage – it’s just the stage and then I put the pole on top of it not through it. So building stages could get get pricey. Iwas hoping to spend 50 on it and ended up running into problems. The thing for me was that the ply wood needed to be fairly thick to support my weight walking across it and I’m a smaller person and I still had to go 3/4 inch thick but in all reality I think I should have gone thicker.
I think Joel (poledancefan) has a much better route than anything I have seen elsewhere. PM him and see what he has to say because I think he made his first pole for $30.

Congrats! You’ll enjoy the X-pole and save a lot of money in the long run.
I also bought a Peek a boo pole years ago and I fell off of it. Luckily I wasn’t badly hurt but I sure didn’t expect something like that to happen.
You can’t go wrong with Xpole, Lil Mynx or Platinum Stages. I have all 3 poles and have beat all three up pretty bad and they are all standing. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

A .mov file needs to be converted to .avi or .wmv you’ll need to go to http://www.cnet.com and search for a .mov converter. I am guessing you are using your cell phone to record? I do this often and just downloaded a free program that turns .3gp files into .avi.
The name of the program I use is called Pazera.
