    I also have big hips and a short waist and the ones I'm talking about are great!  They have just enough stiffness to keep their shape but are comfy enough to pole dance in!  I have a pic on my profile of me wearing one : )

    If you aren't wanting to spend a lot I would look at stripper stores!

    I know they have them.  I bought 3 or 4 from there and would where them everyday for years and they are still in good shape.  They are more like "real" corsets without the price tag!

    Meh…. I stripped for 4 years and they had different laws for different clubs they less tasteful ones had to wear pasties had a 6 foot rule and guys had to tip in buckets on the stage.  The place I worked at never had rules like that ,but if they would have it wouldn't have bothered me I got payed to eat lunch with guys and never had to dance.  I was a lazy stripper lol.

    I would go smaller rather than bigger.  If the shoe you  are looking at has has a plastic top then you can put them in the oven or take a blow dryer to them to stretch the plastic out.  I did that all the time when I danced.

    Thanks ladies for your wonderful words.  You all have made me feel a ton better about myself and the situation.  I have decided to NOT take the pole down and to not walk on eggshells around them ,but to just be myself.  Thanks agin ladies!

    I wouldn't just bring up the pole that's why I was wondering if I should take it down when they come around.  Thanks for the advice I guess I need to not be so insecure about it.  Thanks again!

    I want to go! We moved a few months ago…. had our daughters 1st b-day… and got married so I haven’t put a pole up yet. I used to dance for 4 years but am very out of shape since the baby lol. I will give it my best though! Gelina you can ride with me I live in Las Colinas so it’s not that far for me to drive.
