I'm not a natural dancer at all. I'm getting better with flow from repetition only. I've gotten into the habit of putting together mini combos of about 3 moves each during practice that I do over and over. Now when I do routines I kind of thread together those combos and the flow looks better because I'm so used to them.

To challenge perhaps, but always to uplift.

or maybe sequins instead of glitter and a couple of other ways to add color: blue shoes, red shoes, clip in hair streaks of blue/red.
Now I want to do a performance with a costume hehe. Also I love the song you guys chose 🙂

Also you can always put glitter on the web pieces or wherever to make it pop more if it's too simple.
So there are a few ideas!

Alright here is a whole bunch of links lol so you have to visualize! If these ideas won't work maybe they'll inspire some that will 🙂
So… when I say spiderman crest I mean this thing on the shirt here:

I picture it in red or blue rhinestones on an all black outfit on the chest of your costume or if your top is too small then stuck to your abs. If you have a webby/strappy peice over your torso that attaches from the top of your costume to your bottom you can stick it there. Here is an example of strappy outfits https://www.studioveena.com/photos/view_album/51773156-e854-409c-af34-48680ac37250 Maybe you can do yours in more of a web shape
Or maybe wear monkini type of thing but have the center strip of the monokini more webby

Here are some web shape examples
http://deborahfantasia.hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Make-a-Spider-Web-Shirt
and here is an example of a pole dancer (alethea) in the one "stalkinged" outfit I was referring to

and then you wrote something about a top hat which could add some more style to the whole thing.

or maybe you can wear all black and just have that spiderman spider crest thing on the chest of the uniform on the chest of your costumes maybe one of you can have that spider thing in blue glittery stones and one of you in red stones. Also I see a lot of polers with one stalking on – kind of like a big fishnet or the criss crossing straps that go over the torso connecting the top of their outfit to the shorts – that could represent the web. Sorry if I sound confusing I know its not the best explanation. I'll put pics if I can find them later

I agree with everyone. If you're itching to get started you can do flexibility and/or strength training. You can also work on different styles of dance so you'll have nice transitions as well as practice floor work.

I was wondering about drop moves in LM poles. Kyrsten I think you had commented about drops hurting but I also remember a vid of you practising a jade drop. Was that on a powder coated pole?

I would personally wait at least a month to have time to deep condition and do protein treatments. I have had a really bad situation of extreme processing where I had to go back within a week but my hair ended up super fried. I had split ends up to my roots and ended up having to cut off about 5 inches because it looked so ugly but at least it didn't fall out. It really depends on how concerned you are with the texture of your hair and how much of a difference in dark to light you are going.

^It's the last reply that I remembered. Check it out 🙂
