I know what you mean too (even though I also understand how a performer might like the audience support). There was one video I really loved and also wanted to try to learn some of the moves. I ended up downloading it then putting the music back in over the original audio to get rid of the bad noise.

So sorry to hear your news. I have a cousin who was diagnosed with this last year. I will ask her about books and suggestions. Also, if you have any other questions let me know and I'll ask that too. Overall she seems to be doing well. She had to make some changes such as eating a bit healthier and she started doing more physical activities such as taking more walks and other simple forms of excercise.
I think regardless of what ailments we have or don't have – it's all about finding the right indvidual balance to make things work for ourselves. There are people with none of your conditions who just don't make the most of what their health and would never be able to make it as far as you have if they were in your shoes or even make it as far in their own shoes.

I've never tried this but spraying hairspray over the painted parts might help lock in the color a bit as well as help with grip. I know people use hairspray to seal in makeup.

lol Marle, I just kind of stumbled onto it & when the lead student started frowning and shouting I thought he was saying something bad about the video then they all started dancing hahaha

Here is a funny clip from a movie. The pole dancing starts and 1:00

I guess you can't please everyone because not everyone has good taste 😉

Yay, you rock Webmaster!!!!

I really like the pole bag idea. Wristband is cool too or even a pole charm – maybe a bulk order can get a lower price so it would be affordable to get one for each student.

OMG I'd kill for a remote to switch mid routine!! Sometimes I think about taking the pin out and sticking it in my bra and then trying to find a graceful unoticable way to stick it back in! I'd definitely advise any pole shoppers to make sure they get a spin and static all in one. In the beginning I was just so excited to accomplish anything on static but now I'm so glad I have the spin feature too. To me learning both types are as important as when my instructor insists we do every move on the left (non dominant) side after learning it on the right (or dominant side)

wow that's awesome
