Thanks to all of your feedback I ordered the DVDs and I was just wondering if someone can let me know…

For those that stretched 5 times per week did you alternate between the pole DVD and the splits DVD or are we supposed to do the pure splits DVD 5 times a week?

I like your tip of editing the DVDs Lengo I think I will keep that idea in mind for when the DVDs get here 🙂

Yeah I hate losing strength from a break but I don't think it will take you as long to catch up as it does to learn the moves from scratch because of muscle memory.

Hi Platinum Stages why are your super multi piece poles only available in the UK now? Also has your company addressed the issue with the threads not matching/pieces not fitting together?

Cool thanks for the post. I like that his writing style has some humour mixed up in all of that info.

I could swear I remember Phoenix Kazree posting that she had competed in Montreal for a battle of the pole or something along those lines but I couldn't find the thread so I'm not sure if I have that mixed up.

I loved the 13 video also and the harry potter dance here is another one from that girl and her friend:

and I like this one because of the lighting, silhouette and the smoky background

Oh I see. Well maybe I still don't  lol but just in case: What about cutting the trim in sections so that it can kind of stretch with the fabric because of the divisions.

I'd probably just hand stitch the trim in place since it's already pinned and tried on and you've seen that it all fits and doesn't bunch up anywhere it's not supposed to. If I was feeling lazy and it was a piece I wouldn't wear too often I'd just fabric glue it onto the clothes to save time and put a few stitches here and there for more security.

Also I'd have someone help me do it while I was wearing it to avoid misplacing anything.

Are you able to have members sign an agreement that prohibits use of choreography in other establishments and or maybe sign something that says they are not employed with competing establishments and can be held liable otherwise, or something like that? I had to sign a waiver at my pole studio (nothing to do with duplicating lessons for the purposes of teaching it myself) but my point would be that having to sign something beforehand  would probably not turn students off. Especially since most of them are just there to learn. It looks like agreements are pretty standard these days whenever you do something online there's almost always some kind of agreement to accept in order to proceed.

It might not put a stop completely if someone is dead set on stealing your ideas but it might help to deter because there would be a risk of some kind of consequence.

No experience with it but my opinion is if you've considered it fully and will end up doing it eventually then sooner is probably better than later. Sometimes things come up down the line and the timing might end up being too inconvenient to get it done. Also health wise undergoing surgical procedures earlier on in life that later seems to be easier on the body and the healing process.

I also took long with the inv V. Even after the 1st time I did it, it still took a while for me to be able to do it each time I attempted. I was also kicking into it for a long time before I was able to come up more gracefully. You'll definitely get it.

Slippage by Goldfrapp or Living Dead Girl by Rob Zombie are kind of creepy too.

My pole is a PS not an X but sometimes it goes slippery on me. When that happens I spray Cramer anti slip on a paper towel (just a bit) and wipe the pole. If it's too sticky then I wipe it again with some rubbing alcohol – 70%, more than that is too dry for me. That usually gets me back to the regular stick I have when my pole is being normal. You can try that to get it grip at the same level as your pole studio. If anyone tries it just don't put too much or you will stick so much your skin will hurt.
