I had one done on my hand and one on my shoulder and I just laid low for a few days like 5 and they were fine. If u do sweat your suppose to put a&d on them which can get on the pole so that may suck a little.

I get the same shooting pain when I over do it. As bad as it sucked i laid off any split grip tricks and tried to avoid using my left arm for 2 weeks and I did split grip Saturday and it was much better. I think I just put to much stress on it before it was strong enough and I wasn’t pulling enough with my top hand.

I get more discouraged if I practice at home than in a studio or with a partner. Please keep at it and don't give up because as soon as you get something else down you will feel amazing and so proud of yourself. If you have to put on some music and forget the lesson just dance and walk around the pole. I can't do the lessons at all and I've been poling for almost a year. Whatever you do don't make yourself miserable it should be an escape and something you can't wait to do. And trust you look better than you think you do. We are all our own worst critic.

The feeling you get after doing better than you thought possible is awesome especially when you get a new move down. Congrats on the progress!!!

She is teaching four I believe. Intermediate, advanced,  choreography, and pole essence. I would like to take al four but I want to make sure I can physically participate and not just watch.

For some reason I couldn't find the price for the fresh meat special :/ so thanks! Ill probably check it out in a few weeks. I'd like to be a little more flexible and a little stronger before I go so I feel like I am getting more out of it.  The studio I go to now is literally down the road from the chrome bar  and I love it, it's just so far away. Thanks for the Skype invite I wil have to do that. I've honestly never used it before tho.

I'm a dog Groomer!! Went to school to be a chemist and found a job that I actually love and pays well. Plus I never work a 40hr week anymore so I have more time to pole!

My first was a chrome x-sport 50mm and it two weeks I wanted an x-pert. I found a TG but it is still a 50mm. I want a 45mm just to feel the difference because when I go to spin mode I almost fly off unless both hands are on up top.

No I haven't been to the chrome bar yet. I have a membership at studio goddess in Nashville.  I'm curious to see what her studio is like it s just very pricey.  But Flying Laura was here thus past weekend and Jamilla will be here in June. So very excited!! I will probably have to look into Skype before long. I keep finding people who claim they wanna do it but never actually want to practice. Which I find odd cause I think pole is so liberating.

Don't worry about your weight or curves being an issue. When I started poling I was almost 240 and I have lost a lot but I still have a long way to go. I started weight training 1 month ago and man it has made a difference but I still have my curves.

I can say stretching has helped me gain flexibility. I have never had any form of dance so I lack being flexible everywhere. When I stretch I make sure I am hot either by shower or work out and and I hold all my poses at least 1-2 minutes.  It only works for me if I do it every day though. If I don't stretch when I am sore my muscles draw up.
