  • In my experience, 7 ft is too low. I found that out when I installed my Xpole in my basement. I had 7’4″ there. It was fine until I advanced. then I was limited on inverts and multiple combo’s where I needed height. I have since moved my pole out of the basement and also purchased an xstage lite, which I love. My living room has a cathedral ceiling so I can get nice and high with my xstage.

49 years old now and started poling 4 years ago. I was always into fitness and was a body builder in my 30’s and personal trainer. I took one pole fitness class and was hooked immediately. Now I am an instructor. I am the oldest instructor but our oldest student is 59 and amazing! I also work the lyra and love both. Hale to all the 40+ polers out there. We are bad to the (slightly older)bones!

Ok, here is one for us! I live in a cold climate. Call me crazy but cold poles are what I stick to…go figure! My issue is sweaty hands! I have tried Dry Hands, Mighty grip, Firm Grip and ITac 4. All work temporarily, then my hands get slippery. I have started to try antipersperant (Arrid xxx dry spray) but still have the same result. I have layered the antipersperent and the mighty grip, still with the same results. I have the 50mm crome and 45mm New brass, x stages. Any tips?
