I will let you know, Lyme! I already love my lulu boogie shorts and have a good feeling I will love these too! 🙂

That’s great, littlelindsay! Yay! For anyone else who is interested, if you click on another color, there are more sizes available. 🙂 I ordered a pair too!

I just checked lululemon.com and they have a version of the Hot n sweat short available called "Some Like It Hot Short". I think they're the same shorts as hot n sweaty, but sizes are limited since it is running out of stock. If you're instersted check it out. 🙂

I have the yoga direct pink round one. The material ripped/tore near the velcro the first day I got it. I went to take it apart and it just ripped. The material is not the best quality.

The one biggest thing that helped me was practicing the Tuck Invert over and over. It took a while and I had to be patient with myself. Veena has a great Tuck invert lesson. Getting the tuck invert down is key. You will get it! 🙂

Empy, I bet it would help. 🙂 There was a girl in the workshop with me who said after poling for 2 years, she still could not get the chopper. Then she inverted into a Gemini, changed her grip (like Althea suggested) and was able to go right into the chopper! Just by changing her grip on the top hand. She said she her legs would fall right down before, but this grip helped her stay up. 🙂

I was in a drops and slides workshop with Alethea Austin and Karol Helms last night! Alethea showed us this grip for the chopper drop and it seemed so much easier this way. 🙂

Koba, I agree there are subtle ways to say things and privately. Most definitely! This was said in front of the entire class, right at the point she was starting to work with someone else.

This move is not impossible if you have thick thighs, it’s just not. I have seen it done. If a move completely impossible and the girl has no hope of ever getting this move, I wouldn’t tell her her thighs are too big for it. I would just say, “maybe you’re not ready for this move so let’s try this move instead.” I wouldn’t say in so may words, “don’t even bother trying this move. You’re too fat for it”. There has got to be a better way to say things.
