Wow!  First, you ladies are so fantastic.  I have several friends but frankly none appreciate my pleasure in the pole dancing adventure.  I am just learning, have a bad knee that keeps me paced but everything you have all said is so true.  It's really for you as a person.  So do what you feel like doing (sensual, dancing or not just exercise and fitness).  As for me, I too really enjoy the music. It's therapy for me and so I pick songs that I enjoy and combine with workout on the pole.

Thanks ladies for being the support group you are.

as a follow-up; if you use hte numbing antiseptic with chamomille you need to make sure you let it dry before applying any wax or it will cause a gunking up of wax and that is NOT pleasant to deal with.  It that happens, use the after wax remover to clean up and call a "do over" – start again.

I maintain my brazilian myself as well.  I'd rather me do something like that than some other person.  I've been doing this for a couple years now and have a "semi-perfected" method that works for me.  I'll share what I've learned.  First I'd like to note that I've read articles that doctors say waxing is safer than shaving due to cuts, irritation, etc.  but you can burn yourself if wax is too hot.

I use gigi wax, have a warmer (not the hard wax stuff).  Take a shower a few minutes before to soften the skin. I have tried the GiGi Anesthetic Numbing spray (nah!); Now I use Numbing antiseptic with chamomille extract (get at Sally's Beauty Supply online).  I apply that several times over a few minutes and it really helps.  Then take a stout shot of crown royal and let the treatment begin.  HA!

After I apply remove after was remover to clean off residue. Then I apply bikini soothing cream.  Then the daily care treatment I've learned is dermabrasion- I use one of those facial buff puff things and hibiclens soap.  Each day in shower give a slight scrubbing to area and apply the bikin soothing cream daily.  This prevent ingrown hairs, helps with any irritation of shaving rash if you touch up.  This dermabrasion was the trick for me.

On the cyst – sorry but having it removed surgically is only way to get rid of it permanently. But I’d talk to doctor about local anesthesia of some sort – that way you wouldn’t need full anesthesia. On the other acne, make try light dermabrasion daily. I use a small buff pad withhibclens soap (can buy at Walmart – find it on the aisle with other antibiotic creams, etc.). If you are shaving you might consider changing to waxing. Yes, OUCH! but you can get some pretty effective numbing lotion or spray at Sally’s.

    Good luck.

Hi. I love the question. Music is HUGE for me and the wohle song, sound, the way it makes me feel is centric to my dance. I have different songs based on my mood but truly appreciate the list of songs provided by others so far. Can’t wait to go listen on iTUNES and see what I might find as a new sound.

Recently I put a twist on this and my husband picked the song I dance to — I was surprised at what he selected and what he found to be sensual/dance music that he wanted to see me perform to.

As to a fav. song of mine to dance to — Feelin Love by Paula Cole (City of Angels). That song just makes me feel several things at once. I also like quite a few AC/DC songs. I do like Kings of Leon and Alicia Keys – I keep on fallin.

Thanks for the post. Can’t wait to read more responses.
