I have an old pole from the first PS I was given. I was shipped the new eZ connect pole, so my other one is not being used. Not sure where you live or if that helps you – but thought I would throw it out there.

Englann – exactly!

Jagedup – I have never had the pole jump out – but the pin has jumped on the SSA.
The earlier version of the pole, that twisted together, was terrible. But the ez connect is much better 🙂

Dock -yes, I could see that being a problem. There are pluses and minuses to both. One has protruding legs, the other the stage pieces come up and tip, or the pole pin jumps out, over (thus almost sending me into the wall). I have always thought I would have been much the better off if I had the X Pole Lite – but it has it's down side too. I love the poles in the ceiling, but I am leasing, and can't do it (huge bummer). They are by far better than any stage pole.

OH yes, that's her name. Extremely helpful, and professional. I had someone before her that I was dealing with almost drive me frickin crazy. I had been trying for over a year to get my pole replaced, and they were waiting on the ez connect to be finished. She was telling me next week for months. Which wasn't so bad, but then every other month she would forget what she was replacing, and how (duty paid, whole unit, bags too). I had to keep sending old emails to her. Eventually she was gone – and I had Janice. A breath of fresh air!

Luvlee – yes most of the posts of the trolls on other boards I am on get deleted. Anyone notice how all of a sudden miss Paytonplays has nothing to say. Oops…..move on to another boards to wreak some havoc I'm sure…..

Lopsijulie – the person with the name Paytonplays is a troll – that is what they are called. ON the internet today, it happens ALL THE TIME. You can't sugar coat it. It's not like miss susie was being a bit of a B and then everyone called her a troll. This is a person that has one purpose, to go in chat rooms and message boards and disrupt things. That is a troll. Call it what it is for gosh sakes. Find out how to ban/ignore/or remove her. It's disruptive. All trolls are. Except on message boards where people know how to deal with them. Then you can kind of fart around with them too…even though every thing that comes out of their mouth is nasty.

LOL the only thing biased about the video was the undeniable fact that X pole was better than PS. So many problems!! I am shocked at how many times it is shipped incomplete, wrong, or with pieces that don't fit. Me being one of the customers! I haven't even tried it disconnect my ez connect…nor may ever. But I can tell you that when they just screwed together, I would be up the pole, and the top was coming apart from the bottom. Again, very slow tippy toe steps all the time, so that I could screw it back together and get back down. It was Alethea that stood out on Facebook one day and declared it unsafe, and impractical for any use – competition or otherwise. I am glad they made efforts to fix it, but it is still not as safe as the X Pole. When I have some extra $$ I will buy the superior pole.
Having said that, the most recent hire at PS is very nice and accommodating. I can't remember her name, and the email trail is at work. But she was a big improved addition to the CS at PS.

LOL this is so funny. I just said EXACTLY this on the other demo thread. I see it exactly as you do – she is a troll flat out plain and simple. Does this site have the ignore feature? That's really nice on other boards I go to – I put all the trolls on ignore.
Anyway, I'm glad you are making others aware. She needs to be ignored, with or without the feature.

Payton is a troll – plain and simple. I see them on all boards. She is trying to generate a reaction ,and just stirring things up for kicks and giggles. Sad really.
As for the demo – bravo Veena for showing the EXACT movement on each pole. And from what I saw, SSA did not measure up to X Pole. I am a SSA owner, and wish like h*ll I had bought the X Pole. I was just on it last night doing a spin and the lock pin jumped out, and sent me flying. I can't walk on it without my toes getting pinched, and the base popping up. I have been sent replacements twice. The wobbliness of it is disturbing. Basically I pussy foot around the pole, doing NOTHING fast or with any push to it. It does in a pinch, but again, from what I saw on this demo, it is undeniably X Pole that has the superior product. You can see it just by looking at the two side by side. Before she even stepped onit.
As for trolls, I think that you are pretty lucky on this board – there aren't many (that I have seen – I could be wrong). Consider yourself lucky.
And Payton can send me some nasty message about this post – I'll just take it for what it's worth………:) 🙂
Way to go Veena!
