Preservatives in food and MSG will definitely do it. MSG is the devil when it comes to headaches… and it's in EVERYTHING! Campbell's soup contains MSG. It's crazy.
But I can't ignore the fact that your pattern of headaches sounds so similar to how my migraines USED to be. I would get them on a regular cycle about every 3 to 4 days. I kept a journal of what I was eating, but couldn't nail it down to one particular thing. I too, had stiffness in the back of my neck. The migraines I suffered from for about 10 years seemed to get a bit worse during the Winter months. And I consistently WOKE UP with them. It was awful. I went to my doctor and he just gave me pain medication.
Then one day, I went into work following a day I had called off sick for a migraine. My boss and I started sharing stories about "our migraines", only he didn't get his anymore. He said, "This might sound like an odd question, but– do you use a feather pillow?" I responded, "Yeah, actually, I do." He said, "Get rid of it, immediately." He further explained that he attributed, after years of agony with migraines, them to an allergy to down (goose feathers). I thought, "No way. It can't be as simple as that."
But… I stopped sleeping with my beloved feather pillow. And you know what? My headaches stopped. And then I realized my comforter, that I used for comfy warmth in the Winter time was also filled with goose down. And that's why the headaches were worse in the Winter time. I wasn't using that heavy comforter in the Summer.
Sorry for the long story. But… I couldn't believe it! Years of suffering from Migraines… missing work, throwing up, missing events, and missing out on plans I made with friends… all because of a stupid feather pillow and an allergy to goose down?!?! After speaking with my doctor, he did confirm that it could be true. Like… WTF?!!
Just a thought to let you know, that what could be contributing to your headaches, may very well be the unlikely. Good luck sensualscimitar! I really hope you figure out what the cause is!

I, too, get really dizzy when spinning. I never used to even get motion sickness on roller coasters or in cars. As I've gotten older, it seems that I am more prone to it. So I feel ya Sues. I just wonder if there is anyone else that was like this in the beginning, but has now gotten used to it? If so, how long does it take to adjust? Or do you just remain sensitive to the spinning for ETERNITY??

MemberMay 9, 2011 at 11:06 pm in reply to: anyone else have recurring yeast infections? my lady business is a jerk!!!!@ glitterhips: You should NOT EVER feel like a weirdo about going through something as common as a yeast infection. I don't think I've ever met a woman who HASN'T had a yeast infection. I think some women are just more sensitive "down there" than others. I think the first and foremost thing to do is try and address where you speculate the infection is starting from. In this case, you say, the possibility is your boyfriend. So, it's a good idea to have him wash up before hand. But, you should be careful that he's not washing up down there with a soap that has a lot of added fragrance. You could be reacting to, very simply, the soap he uses. Some men even use baby powder "down there" after they shower. You just never know. Stuff like this, could be a sure cause of a yeast infection. I am very sensitive to this kind of stuff, so I know. :o) I can't wear scented tampons, pads, or panty-liners. I wash all of my underwear, in hot, using DREFT and no fabric softener. See? I can't even use regular laundry detergent! It's crazy. I make sure to spray on perfume AFTER I'm completely dressed. If I spray it on naked and open my legs to walk around… I'm DOOMED!!!! LOL!!!!
In addition, I do other maintenance, as others have mentioned; acidophilus (which is a probiotic, and bacteria naturally found throughout the human body). I take 2 on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. The name of the kind I take is Probioplus DDS, and I get it from a natural health food store close to my house. I did look online though for you, and found it here:

You MUST keep it refrigerated. It will have amazing benefits, regarding your issue. I am telling you, it will make SUCH a difference!!!!! It's imperative for any woman who gets yeast infections. I just cannot stress it enough!! It will actually aid in digestion and boost your immune system as well. It's great stuff! Yogurt is probably one of the most well known foods that contain acidophilus. Just buy plain, and sweeten it with all natural maple syrup if it's too bitter for you.
Just throwing this out there too, even though you didn't mention it; if you are having itching due to vaginal dryness, Vitamin E will really aid with that. I get it, off and on sometimes, and the Vitamin E really helps!!!
Sorry this was so long! Good luck and I hope everything gets better for you! I know what you are going through!

Thank you so much for posting this Sissybuns. I have flat feet just because I get it from my Dad. I have often wondered why my feet sometimes cramp up when I give my toes a good point. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif Now, after reading your post, I have some ideas as to why that might be. I appreciate you sharing this information with everyone. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
