    Wow congratulations!
I imagine twins is a bit different on the body than just one. I poled until about 6 months and that was a good time for me. Good luck with the home birth. I had both of mine at home and it was an amazing experience, to just be surrounded by all things known.
(Of course the actual birthing process is not fun, but, eh, I guess you got get through it either way!)
    good luck to you,

I’m late in the thread, but I figured I’d throw in my opinion about pro-status vs. amateur. I can definitely see the thought that anyone that teaches is a professional, however, I teach and I wouldn’t be caught dead trying to compete with many of the women in the "pro-status"! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
My guess, is that it has some to do with pro vs. amateur in competition. There are many folks that haven’t had competition experience, so maybe "amateur" is a way of gaining experience in that setting with the hopes of eventually obtaining "pro"
Not sure but that’s my thoughts…

    Hey Chrissy!
I’m a VA girl as well! I think you’ll find that pole dancing is a great way to get/stay in shape. I have been an been pretty into fitness since my mid 20’s but I’m in the best shape of my life, even after two kids!
Are you taking classes anywhere or are you going to use the lovely Veena? I teach but this site seems to be a pretty amazing learn at your own pace and have fun community!

Hey Tina- It’s Sam from Charlottesville. How’s the new studio? I hope life has become a bit more calm for you. I saw a pic from one of Jessalynn’s workshops with you! Things must be a bit bitter!

    Hi Toni!
I’m from VA as well! Where do you go for classes? I’m from Charlottesville, so I go to E-Fit Dance at Shergold.
I’m coming up on 35 and have 2 kids. I’ve been poling for 3.5 years and love it! It’s my sanity, so I hope you get to enjoy it as much as I do.
We are having a peformance/workshop weekend here on Jan. 30. If you are interested let me know. You’ll definitely be able to meet some other pole ladies!
Good to see you have you on the site! I’m new too!
