I’m not sure If I should get the extreme or beginning, I’m not sure if it would be important to me to finish the whole workout each tim or not.
What about anyone else???
I am kind of at a small plateu with some pole stuff until I get stronger and maybe a little lighter.
I kinda feel like… I’m 30 and life is way tooo short and I gotta do something so I can enjoy more of my life and being more fit would help me do more things. If I only appreciated it earlier!P90X has a ‘Fit test’ that you can do a few days before starting (or buying!) P90X to make sure you’re in good enough shape to be able to handle P90X and to help track your progress (they have you do it again at the end of 90 days).
Here’s the link to the test, it takes about 40 minutes to complete: http://www.beachbody.com/text/products/programs/p90x/p90xFitTest.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;"
Personally I didn’t quite meet all the requirements when I did my test. I could do about half the things and the other half I could only do only a quarter of the minimum requirements but I was so determined to make a BIG change in my fitness I went ahead and bought it anyway. And it’s been working great for me! There are enough people on the videos doing modifications that I’ve been able to participate in all the workouts… except for maybe some of the yoga moves but that’s another story… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
So anyone wondering if this is right for you or if you should try plain old Power 90 first, give the Fit Test a try and see how easy/hard it is for you.
Oh and also, I bought my P90X on Ebay for about $25 so if you’re not wanting to pay the insane amount of cash they’re asking for it new give that a try! I got just the DVDs for $25 from one user and found another user that sold pdf files of the books and worksheets for about $2. I had to print out all the books then but it was cheap! However I will say that after having used these workout DVDs I think they ARE worth the money and knowing what I know now I might have bought them new even though I’m a cheap-skate. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I just signed myself up! I’d love to meet someone nearby to pole with but sadly it looks like I’m the only one in Oregon! Am I alone over here? Too bad my friends all think poling is scandalous. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
