I’ve been waiting forever for the pole attachment to come out for it, but I also can’t see doing spins and things with the way its constructed. The portability is nice, but I don’t travel a whole heck of a lot.

Ok I’m curious!!! >:-) Love my omni. Better would have to be pretty fantastic!.

Above is a very large empty space for HVAC stuff, and I am not going to be able to punch through because of the lighting fixtures in the room. I manage the building I live in and I already talked to my maintenance guys to see if there is anything we can do and its seeming no. I hope to be able to get the pole attachment for my Omni Gym when they release it, but right now I’m going through a divorce, I’m short on cash, and my beautiful pole is just sitting there unusable when it could help me with my financial situation while bringing the supreme happiness it has brought me to someone else out there. Can’t wait to see that omni gym pole attachment. Maybe they’ll send me a tester model at a discount, I’ve been bugging them about it forever lol. Thanks Chemmy

I would say at least 3 ft of ground clearance if you can. If ur not using springs weight doesn’t come into play. Most rentals I know have cheap doors that would break with the door straps they sell. But if you have standard 8 ft ceilings 7 11 is as tall a stand as u can fit. You could always find a strong tree or suspend from playground equipment.

I was very close to getting the omni stand and the fly gym, but it wasn’t worth the added cost. As for the thing itself, you can buy just the sling and some nylon straps and eyebolt it to a ceiling. The trapeze thingy if you wanted it adds about a foot and a half I think, and with 8 ft ceilings, it was perfect for me at 5 5, 160lbs. Another 5’5 person that weighed 200 lbs touched the ground just barely. Anyone tall had to modify and couldn’t just suspend unless you take the trapeze off. They’re good about answering questions. Just browse through swing models, accessories, and youtube them, and all the info you need is out there, even quick setup instructions for the frame.

I have the Omni, and I have it a bit taller than 7’11. I really love it. Main differences are that I think fly gym is a bit stretchier, but they DO sell a stretchy sling. The straps are more workouty than slingy. And the regular sling and foot things are padded, which I half like and half don’t. They are comfortable, but a little bulky. I love having the ladder attachments for the frame. They either have or are coming out with a tailgate frame, and a pole attachment for the frame. There are also talks of a cover tarp tent thingy so you can go yoga in the outside and stay dry and stuff. Its so versatile. And you can always take the straps off and change up the way you hang the sling if you don’t want them there. I would very much like to save up for the stretchy sling from them. I like the moves poster and the videos and things on Youtube and Facebook to show you ways to use it you never thought of. 🙂

So far so good. We packed my car up this morning. Just trying to get through my day. Coordinate peeps to help with some of the moving. Its 2 hours round trip to get to my stuff and back to the apartment. The worst thing at this point is trying to pay for gas and just get the stuff over to the place. Getting new items when shared things were left behind. Can not WAIT to have those tall ceiling for the omni gym. My mom said I sound frazzled. Not frazzled. IMPATIENT!

It’s been very civil and we both want it to stay that way. We argued over who got to keep Ace Ventura lol. But other than that we’ve split everything down the middle. All my stuff is packed I got that done while he was asleep mostly. I worked from 6 am to noon to pack as he snored (one thing I will not miss!) My brothers helping me move on Tuesday. And Legs4Days it’s near VCU in the fan. All those older buildings have amazing high ceilings. There’s a 1 br opening up in April at 2618 Grove that has 10 ft ones I think.

I live about 30 minutes west of Studio X, have a 45 chrome x pert at the house, along with an omni gym and a bunch of hoops. Would be happy to jam if its not too far from you. I’m actually off work on the 26th because my husband has a court date, smh.

A LOT of things can cause that, but I wouldn't rule out poling lol. Wishing you quick healing!

There are professional riggers that can check that stuff out for you, you can choose to trust it if its got large enough dimensions… Thats all I can think of. If the wood seems at all dryrotted or insect abused, steer clear.

If you apply color after removing pigments, your hair will take the color much darker. An "Ash Blonde" will come out "Grey Brown" so be careful with that. The color lift you used the first time can probably be used again in a couple of weeks after you have time to nourish your hair. The real factor is: If there is pigment in your hair that is artificial, you need to remove it. After that you can bleach, redye, or leave in brassy mode. If you feel confident you have the pigment out, use the same lift as before with a LOT of blue purple tone and hope for it to lighten more (basically what chemgoddess said). Strand test if in doubt. If it were MY head, I would use Decolour Hair Colour Remover, and then condition like crazy to get my head healthy, and then I would use a regular bleach/color lift like you did the first time, and condition and healthify like crazy, and pray for my hair. I would NOT leave that 40 vol lift stuff on for 60 minutes though. I would go for 30-40 and then rinse. If its not light enough at that point you can try again in a few more weeks, but 60 minutes is killer if its anything like the prismlites powder bleach/40 volume devolper mix I use here in the US. I am going from natural dark brown hair and I lift it to platinum silver whitish in just 35 minutes. Any more than that and it starts breaking off. I also do my head in two stages to keep it even, i pull the top back and do the whole process on the bottom, then when its dry I do the whole process on just the top, making corrections if the underneath isn't quite what I wanted. Try using google or whatever to try and understand how hair and color works and you'll be better informed to make your decisions if the salon is really out for you (I know how that is, its the case for me, thats why I am willing to just share my experience, but can make no guarantees.)

Itl take because of the bleach and it will just blend with whats there giving you funky hair. Then you can overlay blue to get purple and stuff. But thats a whooole different mode than trying to go blonde…

MemberAugust 14, 2013 at 12:55 pm in reply to: URGENT HELP PLEASE, I BLEACHED MY DYED BLACK HAIR & NOW IM ORANGENote: I am NOT a stylist, and some stylists would cringe reading what I wrote, everything I know I know from experimenting for the past 15 years, studying hair structure and how dyes and things work, and talking to stylists. Sometimes I cheat a little and go get a haircut with HORRIBLE color and the stylists usually can't help but tell me all I've done wrong. I take notes and go home and fix it (sorry stylists, I can't afford you, you're worth every penny, but I don't have every penny) If all goes to hell, you can always go super short and bleach the hell out of it and work your way down the color scale. SO much easier to go darker than lighter >.<
