Do it! lol
But seriously, one piece suits with side cutouts are HOT for poling! And I’ve seen many vids of girls dancing in swimwear. Even if it does look like a swim suit, it doesn’t matter!
Just be careful about scratching your pole with the jewelry. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_safesex.gif -
Ooh, yes! Use those! They are my faves too! Free and easy to use, what else could you possibly ask for? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

You can still moisturize after poling and on non-poling days! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

lol, I’m doing it the other way around https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
I’ve been doing the iguana mount for a while now (not as scary on skinny poles, since hand grip is way more secure on those) and by improving my lift into pencil, I’m trying to get ready to lift my handstand some day.
But on topic, although I’m an advanced poler I’m planning on going through all V’s lessons once I get my own pole and my subscription! -
I think it depends on whether you see it as a wrist sit variation or a plank variation. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_question.gif
I’d definitely vote plank variation. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_pirat.gif
But then it’s still a matter of naming the variation in leg positioning. It’s almost attitude legs, but not quite since the front leg is straight. Hopefully someone already has a good descriptive name for it! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif -
Hi Robyn! Welcome to the most wonderful addiction known to man (and woman) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif !! And a warm welcome to StudioVeena! This is such a great place for us addicts to spend many hours. Browsing, engaging in discussions, chat on Fridays, sharing videos and progress, and most of all supporting each other every step of the way! You’ll love it! Have fun!!!

Darn it! You’re right! I got so caught up in the wrist seat story that I forgot that I actually (usually) treat this as an advanced plank variation (thumb down). Although both are very possible and very pretty.
Sorry to cause confusion! -
Oooh yes, me too! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
And I love the idea, I’d really enjoy that! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif

Either with wrist seat/sit, or this variation I’d recommend placing the bottom hand thumb up though, to protect your wrist!

It’s when you go from brass monkey to eros and then swing your leg back while coming up to a pole sit in (as much as possible) one fluid movement.
I found three examples, but there are probably more:

MemberSeptember 11, 2010 at 9:03 am in reply to: I’m being interviewed tomorrow by our local paper!!!Why not keep going with the pole parties and maybe privates/semi-privates? Since you don’t need studio space for those, and you’d still be able to spread your love of pole and health. Then maybe in time you can expand to studio classes. Also, you could use the parties and privates to get the word out that you’re looking for studio space to rent/lease. Odds are that you meet someone that way who loves your classes, and personally knows someone renting out such a space. In which case they can put a good word in for you or recommend you from personal experience.
Just trying to brainstorm a little here. But if you decide to pull out alltogether that’s very understandable too!! It’s too bad, but if you’re done, you’re done. Maybe it just wasn’t the right time.
Regardless of your decision, I wish you the best of luck! I’m sure you’ll be just fine!
