You could also try to explain to him that, although you’re not sure why, you don’t feel comfortable enough yet with your poledancing to let him watch you practice. You could suggest that you make short videos during practice with some highlights so you can keep him updated on your progress and accomplishments until you’re ready to have him watch live and in realtime. Or you could agree to having him leave you alone while you practice, and then invite him to come look the final 10 minutes or so of your practice so you can show him some stuff. That way you can finish you practice first, at your own pace and without worrying about him seeing you stumble through pole-related experiments lol. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Oww. That’s odd. Never encountered that one before. Have you tried calling X-pole’s customer service? From what I hear they are usually very helpful, and they prob. have more experience with less common xpert issues. Let us know if you find a solution!!

Because if it does it might be just positioning of the hands (distance between them) and/or body positioning. If it’s the same, I’m not sure…

More importantly, I finally managed to grab my foot!! I have been working on my flexibility, so that might be it, but I also discovered a neat little trick. I first grabbed my foot with my other hand, and then ‘handed’ it to the hooked/top arm. Maybe that’ll work for you too?
