Well now I have a question that is maybe a little bit the opposite of the first one but it is related. Since I started teaching in august and training for a competition I feel I have gotten this more ripped look specially on my arms and stomach. And I actually like it when I look a little softer. I have always been thin and have fast metabolism. Is there anything I can do to prevent this ? Eat more, train less or what? I practice for about 6 hours or more a week and try to eat as often as possible but its sometimes hard since I am way too busy lately.

Shouldnt be to difficult to use split grip instead since I think its not possible to get to the flatline scorpio from elbow grip aysha and butterfly.

I did my first attempts from standing on the floor without success. And found it easier from up on the pole. I like to get into it from a pole sit, then I lean forward and get the pole into my armpit. Then I grab the pole with my left hand while I grab my right foot with right hand. Then I extend my right foot as much as I can until I feel the grip with my armpit and hip and then I grab the left foot with left hand and extend your legs and arch my back as much as possible.
I do it in this video close to the middle of the song. http://ver3.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4563

Okay. Maybe im not getting something but Charley said the reverse shoulder mount is the best to get into the death lay. And It doesnt make sense to me https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
Or did she mean that you get into the death lay from a shouldermount and then to get out of it to a reverse shouldermount?

Do you mean it is the same as shoulder dismount?

What is reverse shouldermount?

I think its definatly muscles! Specially since people are telling you that you look good and asking if you lost weight.
I have gained 7 pounds since I began poledancing (a year ago) and I am very sure its only muscles that I have been gaining. I dont look like I have lost or gained any weight at all and all my clothes fit the same. But my body looks so much better and fit. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
