The studio where I teach just started having 2 per pole this month for the first time because so many girls signed up for the beginners class. I think it is alright since most beginners don't have energy for an entire hour on the pole without rest in between. I tought my first 2 per pole class last night and it went good. But since that meant there were twice as many students I could'nt spent as much time with each one and couldn't get through as much as I am used to. But I think it will be just fine. But we will only have 2 per pole in the beginners classes though.
Personally I would not like to share a pole. I like to stay on the pole most of the time and have since I first started but that is what I am used to. Maybe I wouldn't mind if I had started out with sharing a pole. 🙂

I share my pole dancing videos in my facebook. Friends, family and other people can see it. I'm proud of the videos that I do post there and I dont care if someone think's it is too sexual or whatever but I have never gotten any negative comments about them ever. 🙂

I also realize I wasn't putting my shoulder on the pole like I should have.

Oh thanks that shows it off really good. 🙂 Now I just need to try again. The cupped grip seems easier also, it is my preferred grip in the sm at least. I'll video my next attempt and hope it will be a success 🙂

Ohh these are very similar. Thanks, I might give those entries a try first but I really really would like to figure out how to get into it like she does in this video. It begins at about 00:35 https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/4df14652-f7cc-4f41-8439-25c50ac37250

Just stick it out! 😛 I think it is just out directly. But If you are holding with your right hand that would mean your whole body is leaning to the right so it might seem like it would be angled a bit to the right. I hope that helps 🙂

The most common thing that poeple do wrong that keeps them from being able to wrap that leg around the pole is not sticking their butt out enough. So try sticking that butt out 🙂

Haha oops I see now that I should have read better. Haven't tried brass and the ss that I use isn't from xpole either. But I can see that you have similar experience with the grip on ss. 🙂

I now use ss and chrome equally and I like the ss better.
Here's my comparison of chrome and ss from my experience.
SS is better for hand grip but not as good for gripping with other body parts since my skin is very often dry. BUT whenever I have gripping problems on the ss wether its hand or leg gripping issues I out on itac and problem solved.
Chrome is awful for my hand grip. I need to have to clean the pole all the time, wash my hands and no grip aid lasts me for more then 5 minutes. Itac makes my hands slippery as well as other grip aids I have tried. Tite grip has helped me but I still have problems. The good thing about chrome is that I have very good grip with other body parts. But when I cant grip with my hands it's just not that fun.

When I started pole dance and fitness almost 2 years ago I had never done any kinds of sports or activity since childhood and was in a bad shape. I remember one od my instructors saying to me once that when I began I was like a skinny fat girl and talked about how far I had come(she said that about a year after I started). I have most of the time been practicing about twice to 3 times a week with periods in between where I train more often. You dont need to practice everyday. I feel that when I have tried to train too much I kind of burn out and don't enjoy it as much.
You can do it. Just remember to enjoy the journey 🙂

Is chinese grip the same as true grip?
I just got the Iron X a month ago 🙂 I have been playing around with getting into it a few different ways.
I like to get into it from aysha with twisted grip and slowly lowering down and turning it sideways keeping a wide straddle.
OR use true grip. I decited to try it just for fun and found out that I can hold the iron X longer. When I do that I caterpillar up and go to true grip from there.
And one more thing. When doing the Iron X I like to keep the legs in a wide straddle and I stick my butt out. It makes it alot easier 🙂

Yes flipping might be a better term. But isnt flipping same as twisting but faster? :: Hmmmm

Are you having trouble with the move like getting into it, holding it or getting out of it?
The superman I think is one of the most painful moves. For some the pain never goes away. It once stopped hurting for me but that was when I practiced it very often for about a month. It still hurts today and I learned it over a year ago.
I like getting into it from a scorpio. To do that I put one hand above the knee. I hook with the left knee so left hand goes above. The right hand goes below so you are holding in a split grip. I use the bottom hand to lift up so the torso is horizonal. Then I straighten the hooked leg and twis the body downwards to the left, let go with your bottom hand, push hips forward and squeese legs together and try to ignore the pain. Hehehe 😛
