I have a 45 and I love it! I recommend one that you can put in spin mode as well, You might want to start spinning at some point. I have used my pole daily for a year now, and it does not bow or bend. The 45 mm at the studio is not bending either. I think, now that I am use to 45 mm that 50 is to thick to get a good grip on. I have a x-pole expert btw.

I have a crashmat from Lupit pole and I love it!
I have the thickest mat, Its 12 cm. Thats the only one I trust if I fell on my head;) This is an European brand, I don’t know if they have dealers around the world, or if they ship to USA, but check it out!

Thank you! I didn’t even know that dehumidifiers existed. Maybe they are not common in Norway;) I´ll check it out! PS: What is powder coat? Is it a grip? I use gorilla grip mostly and sometimes I Tack ( think that the name) is a paste anyway.

Oh no. I can sort of relate to this, I recently got a prolapse in my back, and my left foot is numb and weak. It hurts all the time to, and I have lost my splits. I just have to be patient, and I will be fine I hope sooner or later. I just want to say that I know the feeling when your body is not what you want it to be. Its so sad and frustrating. I hope that you will gain your strength back fast and be able to enjoy your progress even if it feels like nothing compared to what is used to be. Baby steps can also be big steps, and some day you will have it all back. Hugs Eva

So glad I found this tread. My Problem is exactly the same! I used to lift heavy weights for many years 4-5 times a week. After I started pole dancing i have been so confused about how to manage everything and don’t overtrain. For now I try to do weight training 3 times pr. week and pole 2-3 times pr week. The weight training is mostly legs, core and I also like to include handstand practice and some stretching. I Also do some recovery for wrists and shoulders. Sometimes I do chins and pushups but only a few sets. I also try to do stretching 2-3 times a week, and som yoga and I i not sure that i have found the right balance yet. I try to listen to the body all the time cause I had a bad episode with my wrists a while ago. I am 40 years and can not afford to get hurt all the time, or constantly have sore shoulders and arms.

Sounds familiar. No worries. My skills and performance are not the same all the time. its´frustrating but its normale. Progress are not like a straight line, sometimes it´s feels like you are going backwards. Typically if you are tired like you said. I have days that I can do “anything” and days that nothing works. For eksample: my shoulder mouth is solid, but when I am tired sometimes I can’t do it at all. Not even close. And I have it like that with a lot of things. Some days my skin hurts and I feel weak. Other days I feel like a queen on the pole. Don’t rush it and don’t let it stress you. Its normale:) take a week off if you are tired and eat enough food. Have fun!

I figured it out! So happy! The easiest way is from twisted grip aeysia I think. The arms are already in place, so all you need to do is change the position of the back and legs. And volia!
