I think that for a beginner it's better to start with Veena lessons, because they are well structured and will take you step by step to more advanced levels. Personally, I learned also from Jamilla Deville DVD (they could be of some help), then I learned with Veena (her lessons helped me a lot) and now I've subscribed for Poleandaerial online lessons. I like their site, even if it is pretty new, because it contains many new moves and variations of the old moves that was interesting for me (even with my 4 years experience in Pole Dance!). I love especially Marlo Fiscen and Jenyne lessons. The disadvantage of this site is that you can find many moves of intermediate or advanced level in the beginner level or vice versa (I'd prefer the Veena division of levels!) and the сollection of the lessons are incomplete (sometimes instructor advice you to revise some lesson that you can't find in this site).

Thak you a lot, sensualscimitar! That's a perfect and clear answer.

I have another question… In which stretches should we have flat feets and why (is it a security issue or it makes stretches more effective?

That's what I am talking about (yes, regarding leg stretching): one sources advice to relax muscles, other- to tight them…:-(

Thanks for that super interesting and useful topic!

I also have one question about stretching that I have never understood: should our muscles and hamstrings be relaxed or tight while stretching? Or, if both, how it is possible?

Girls, I read that someone of you ordered the AOP electronic version. Is it really possible to get it in electronic version or the only way is to order the DVD from the site of Jamilla?

So, which site do you advice tfor buying a good pair of shoes?
And the other problem: ordering on-line, how can you be sure that you order the right size? Maybe it’s just my problem, but when I buy shoes I always have to try it, because the size that I need can vary from 34 to 37 (depending on producer). How do you resolve this problem?
