I have really been struggling with pancake straddle lately! I have pain in my left ankle and lower calf. It feels awful when I point my toes, like my ankle and heel is being pushed into the ground. I end up flexing my feet and its better. I can also prop my heel on a rolled towel and its OK. Anyone else experience this?
I, too, am interested in the silicone xpole. Can anyone with more experience than me tell me any ways this pole might be limiting? Ways that I might not be able to move? I think it might be good for me because I sweat a lot plus I feel it might be safer for my young son to use. He is a trickster and I know he will be up the pole too. Is grippier safer? Your thoughts are much appreciated.
