Maybe just doing body folds (I don’t know what they are really called) toward your toes and then to the sides to loosen up a bit. Or Lying backwards on an exercise ball might help stretch things out a bit. I’m sure some other people on here have some better ideas. That’s all I can think of.

Welcome! Your monthly pole jams sound awesome.

I wiggle mine back an forth a little bit if it won’t tighten enough and try again. It seems to work for me.

My pole can only be 7ft 10 inches. Although a 12-14 ft pole would be awesome! But either would be fine.

I had a Lil’ Mynx for my first pole and loved it. I replaced it with an x-pole when I moved and my new place was 2 inches shorted than my ceiling (grr). But I like both poles. X-pole is good for a bit more height flexibility (Lil mynx unless custom ordered is 8-10ft) but Lil Mynx was easier to take down and up. I head platinum stages is good too but I have no experience with them

Yay! I’m glad he understands. Now you can be safe and have more fun (no ouchy scratches) when your x-pole arrives.

They are finally in stock. I ordered mine back in Aug and got them 3 days ago. Haven’t tried em out yet but they def are sturdy which is a big plus right there.

I hear a hair dryer helps. I’ve never tried it but even though it would take some time outta each practice, if it works it is shorter than 7 months
