after the lovely drinking games a bout of musical chairs is always amusing, or before since sometime they can get pretty intense. You could get a halloween cd (My folks always played a haloween hits one which has good music on it). Or you could make it a drinking game instead of taking away chairs you chould do a shot or something.

Veena has an awesome article on what makes a good pole somewhere on here and then I think it is Foxy Rei who did a video on "why peekaboo poles sucks" or some title like that.
Or just google for things about good quality poles and tons of stuff will come up.
He needs to know that they are not the same and it is dangerous for you to do much more than your doing on your pole. -
That would be so nice. Right now I just copy and paste it into word and save it that way but a folder would be nice cause I often forget to check word before coming on here. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

You guys are so good. I keep telling myself I’ll stretch today and then I always do it mentally but never physically. Tomorrow is my goal. I get off work at 8am (yes am, I get there at 4:30a for my short shift) so I’ll be up and will have little excuse not to… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif
I like the idea of that v stretch. My inner thighs are pretty tight. Too much treading water while teaching swimming and not enough stretching. That will have to be one I do tomorrow.
Great idea for a thread btw. It’s making me feel guilter than normal for not stretching so I’ll be more likely to do it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Up to 4 hours a day?!? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif almost daily?!? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif When were you sleeping, eating, ect? Wow. That is super intense.
Sorry to hear you got hurt though. Hopefully you’ll heal quick and by then your muscles which prob got really broken down (as they do when you workout) will have built up and you’ll be nice and strong and, most importantly, safe.

I don’t have em cause I don’t stretch like I should however this site and a couple others claim 3 weeks if you focus. I think it might be bs but then my sister got splits in about a month or so cause she wanted to be on drill team. So maybe it is possible. Here’s the site http://drill.wordpress.com/2006/09/03/stretching-splits-in-three-weeks/

that’s one of the topics that covered it. There were quite a few a while back. It also has a link to Veena’s article bout tempermental poles.

MemberSeptember 26, 2009 at 1:57 am in reply to: LEG STRENGTH and 15 month old story lolI had issues with the thighs for a while (and still do every once in a while). For me it was just practice, squeezing harder than I ever thought possible, and keeping focus and pressure while dealing with the pain of squashed muscles and pole burn. Beyond that I have heard squeezing the bum helps too. I’m squeezing so much I don’t even know what things I’m using anymore https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rabbit.gif . So I’m not much help but you’re not alone.
Your son sounds adorable.

Don’t worry about not being "in shape enough" to start. Pole will help get you in shape and you’ll have a blast doing it. If you’re truely worried about weight limits, you might try lil mynx (last I check had a 200 lbs limit) or x-pole (I’ve heard has no limit when put up proper).
Have fun! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

longer poles are more bendy naturally. I don’t know if that will increase it’s chances of leaving a mark but it is natural.

Need your opinion 😀I prefer full coverage considering most people’s "full coverage" is about a medium coverage or less (depending on design) for me and I would love to find shorts that actually keep my butt covered when I want it covered. I don’t care at home or in the studio but for some of the pole parties and such I would love to keep my corpsely white butt covered.

Welcome. Hope your second lesson goes well. I’ve got no help with the splits, they’re a goal for me too but I don’t practice as much as I should.

I love your name by the way, I used to babysit for a woman named Sabine and always thought it sounded so pretty. Your act is awesome. I’d be so dizzy!
