I’ve got the sport set. It’s beautiful but not tried it out yet. Can’t imagine you’d have any issues with flashing as the legs are ringed with elastic which looks great, though as my body like a to store it’s fat there is can look a bit like sausage meat escaping its casing but I can’t size up as it fits everywhere else

Puscifer! And congrats on both getting to and having a great idea for your 2nd poleversary. You’re a lovely, positive addition to the Studio Veena site. I don’t say all that much on here as I’m more of an observer, but it’s genuinely nice to have you around 🙂

Black milk is a bit expensive but they are awesome and good quality. I have the ninja hooded catsuit and if going to the loo wasn’t such a pain I would live it in. So comfy!

No worries. It’s getting the shoulder out that can be a pain, but if you can trust your arms, take your legs off and can work out the balance you just unwind. Feels like magic, I find it to be one I have to practice now and then or I seem to forget the balance. Cleos website has some awesome tutorials!

Ah just realised you said split grip. I’ve only seen her do twisted.

After my pole lesson tonight I thought I’d chime back in. have you tried partner assisted stretching? I have been working towards trying to get the pancake for a while and struggle a bit with trying to keep good form and my back flat so I’m tensing some muscles which works against the stretch. in class my instructor showed us how to get a partner to lean against your back to give a bit of extra help so you can just relax into it and they keep your back flat. I gained like 4-5 inches. could almost kiss the floor. I don’t know of any particular ones for other split stuff but it may be worth looking into? Though obviously you need someone you trust to listen to you and go slow.

Hey, I dont really have much helpful to say, but I feel your pain. I seem to find box splits easier to progress in, but either front split is just going nowhere. After a year of a similar amount of stretching to you, it was maybe a couple of inches better, maybe. I’m 30 and had no flexy training and have an office job and crappy gait which definitely doesn’t help. I also had a break for a while cos got disheartened, but just started up again. Because one I’m stubborn and 2 I wonder what my flexibility would be like if I didn’t do it! One thing I’ve read a lot recently is about strengthening the opposing muscles to the tight ones. My hamstrings aren’t too bad and I can see progress there, it’s the hip flexors that don’t budge. I’m going to work on strengthening my glutes etc and see if that helps any and will be following this thread in the hope someone else has something more positive! I am also going to try and mix up what kind of stretching I do. I have cleos DVD and veenas lessons so plan to alternate and my be throw in some yoga. What kind of stretches do you do?

Has any one else with claw/hammer toes managed to get a nice point? Mine cramp like hell and even at my most ‘pointed’ they look like they have barely moved.

Thanks for replying guys. Do you use it much on spin mode and how did you find putting it up?

Any update on these? Apparently they’ve fixed the issues they had with the pole and I’m curious to know if anyone has one and what they think of it?

Zoraya is goddamn awesome! My favourites at the moment are Bendy Kate, Sarah Jade and Eva Bembo. The last 2 are not made of bones like the rest of us I swear!
