I am going to my first class on Monday!! I don't really know all types of yoga, but the one I'll be going to is more intence than… I don't know… classical yoga? 😀 So this is sport yoga, I'm not sure how it's in English, but it will involve not only some good stretching but also a lot of hard work with muscles, like some push-ups and so on. I can't wait, I've never been to a yoga class before :))

Girls, I am doing my splits right now. After my dance rehearsals without stretching I always go almost all the way down, there's always 3-4 cm left. But when I try at home, it's nothing similar, and I really do warm up nicely at home, although, I don't have the conditions to get THAT worn out as I am during the rehearsals, and they are just two times a week. I've had thoughts of purchasing Aleathea Austin's DVD Pure Splits because I've heard some of you had good feedbacks on it. So is it really that good and worth the money?

At age 14 I took up folk dancing, hopping to do something about that and also about the scoliosis. Unfortunately, I didn't actually work for the latter but at least it made my back straight and strong 🙂

Tallicachild – thanks, it's nice to know you're aware where Lithuania is 😉 And not everyone here has the accent – mine isn't that noticeable, haha.
Lina, I'm definitely not the only girl in Lithuania, who does pole fitness. I've read in a few forums that a few women went to pole studios abroad and when they came back, they kept training. But these are really just a few. Also you'd find pole dancers in strip clubs. And that's mostly it. The problem is that people here still think that pole dancing is only about striptease, and I think it's going to take them a while to understand it's not.
And wow, I can't wait to gain that poler's butt, haha!

Heh, Kauno apskritis is just Kaunas' County in Lithuanian, the website wrote that down automatically, when I was registering. I'm from Lithuania 🙂
