I’ll be there! I’m competing in Masters on Sat 🙂

I competed in the very first competition Moses created. In the compulsory round you will do the required moves (without music). I’m not sure what specifically you have questions on. . I think Stephanie Skyy is the head judge, contact her for questions. Also, you can contact Moses for clarification.

Back to the original post…. I like VJs, Spinarella, Polewaxers & Polelateaz. I have not visited Dance 411, Eye Fit Candy, Primary Fitness (also there’s a few new pole studios that have popped up, don’t remember the names), so I can’t offer any info on those. Have fun poling in Atl 🙂

@ Chemgoddess: pls do not tell me to take a step back!!!! Like I stated before, VJs is more than booty popping and our clients know that.
Btw, I only have opinions and offer feedback on studios that I have personally been to. I don’t make assumptions, u know what they say about assuming?
-
Btw (to the person that said VJ’s is for booty popping): Not all VJ students & instructors (myself included) booty pop. I take it you’ve NEVER been to VJ’s to make that incorrect assumption.

Yes, anyone can attend the workshops at VJ’s & Yes I do privates as well.
I’m a former student of Polelateaz and I don’t think they are a joke. I had good experiences there. Although I teach at another studio, I’m still very supportive of PLT. Maybe you should drop in to different classes.
What is your skill level & what are you looking for in a pole studio?
May I suggest purchasing a groupon/living social deal so you can try out classes at different studios without spending a lot money.

Btw, Alethea will be having workshops at Vertical Joe’s in Feb.

I teach @ Vertical Joe’s and compete also. I’ve been to all of the studios in the ATL area except for Dance 411. You may want to take a drop in class at each studio to see which one you like. Heidi (instructor at Polewaxers & Polelateaz) is great also.

MemberMarch 10, 2012 at 6:51 am in reply to: any veeners out there who r medical coders??I graduated from a health information management program and I am certified thru AHIMA & AAPC. Currently, I work in Compliance for a hospital. However, right out of college I worked for an insurance company processing claims and throughout the years have worked in various healthcare roles for hmo's and I.T. companies. I like the variety of my field & I am always challenged. My advice to you is to become a member of AAPC and/or AHIMA before you graduate & attend local meetings in order to network. After graduation, take the test to become a certified coder (thru AAPC or AHIMA). Also, AAPC has an externship program in which you can gain valuable work experience. I hope this help. Pls let me know if you have additional questions 🙂
